Clearwater Plumbing had an excellent response to my leaking toilet reservoir. It was
part of the ball float that was malfunctioning and leaked a little bit of water. The contractor fixed the problem with the leak. He said that the float which is another part in the toilet reservoir wasn't tight and a lever needed to be replaced. He said that he did not have these parts in his truck. He checked further in his truck and found some replacement parts. Shortly after Larry had left I noticed that the toilet did not flush properly. I literallly had to press the lever for a long time until everything was flushed. I called the company and Larry came out and replaced the malfunctioning part.

We had a leak under our cement slab floor in January, 2014. Since this was our third leak under the slab, we decided to re-route the pipes instead of jack-hammering the floor and fixing the leak. Larry had to be at other jobs, so his son was in charge of the crew (Note: Larry's son is young, but don't let that bother you - he is a great plumber). They went out of their way to save us money in the re-routing and minimize the damage they had to do to the walls and ceiling to put in the pipes. They kept everything clean and their price was very reasonable (we had gotten a few estimates).
Since then, anytime I need a plumber, I call Larry. They have always been able to come out quickly - until a couple of weeks ago when my pipes backed up on the same day that we were having a dinner party. Clearwater wouldn't be able to fix it until 6 pm, so Larry recommended another plumber, who was able to fix it sooner (The other plumber did a good job, but my loyalty remains with Clearwater).
Another example of how Larry does business - A neighbor noticed water puddling outside her kitchen - she was concerned that it was a leak under her slab floor. I suggested Clearwater Plumbing. Larry came out to give her a free estimate. He looked around and said that the leak was likely from a pipe leading to her sprinkler system. He said he could fix it but that her gardener could probably fix it for less, so she had her gardener do it.

Clearwater came quickly, ontime and did the job expertly. Who could ask for more?

I called Clearwater to install a new burner assembly for my Whirlpool water heater. While other companies quoted me $175 - $225, Clearwater provided an estimate of 1 hour labor at $125. Tyler arrived within the committed window and completed the repair in a little over 30 minutes! Since the minimum billing is one hour (perfectly reasonable), I had him replace the gate valve on the main water supply line to a ball valve. This additional work brought me over the 1 hour minimum threshold and now I have a nice shut-off valve.
Work quality, professionalism, attitude, productivity, and cost were all fantastic. It is great to find a local Fremont business that I can recommend without reservation. I will certainly be using Clearwater for my future plumbing needs and recommending to my neighbors as well.

Our handyman recommended Clearwater plumbing to us. Our previous plumber was a disaster and we were very disappointed in him. So this time, we wanted to be sure that we hire the right plumber. We asked Larry to give us a bid for moving our water heater to a corner of our garage, install rigid pipe for the dryer vent, install pedestals for washer and dryer, install a sink in the garage and change the existing cheaper pipe of our dishwasher (again due to the sloppiness of our previous plumber). It appeared that Larry is very knowledgeable about his trade. Tyler and Larry finished the work in 1.5 days. They were clean, courteous, on time, and professional. Got the permits, no issues. All in all, a huge thumbs up to these guys. I am definitely recommending them to my friends and family.

We had a rather complex drainpipe blockage, as another Company tried to snake and then told us to replace all our galvanized pipes with a $2k price tag if we wanted the blockage repaired.
We opted for a 2nd opinion with Clearwater. Larry came out the same day we called and was able to solve our drainage problem (without replacing all our galvanized pipes). He was courteous, clean and knowledgeable with very fair prices. He will be the first Company we call if we have any other plumbing issues. Thanks Larry!

I've called these guys numerous times for leaks, clogs and installs. On all three visits the work got done promptly so I'm satisfied w/ that aspect. But the last visit involved too much up-selling and a small cartridge replacement that cost $120 (for the part only) just for what should've been an $8 part. I think they were changing me what it would've cost had the repairman had to spend an hours worth of labor to make a store visit, but since the repairman had the part in the car, they just charged me the store visit price. I'm gonna be looking for a different plumber next time. A word of advice for those who use these guys: go buy the possible replacement parts yourself and save a ton of money. You can always return unused parts.

They are awesome. I've called them several times to fix various issues at our house. They are responsive and get it done right! They are careful and clean in the work area (wear shoe covers). I really trust them and think their prices are reasonable.

I called Clearwater Plumbing because I had worked with Andrew Mills Plumbing in the past, but he sold his business to them when he retired. I left a message at their office on a Monday evening when I discovered our kitchen sink/disposal was leaking.
Larry called me back the next morning and set up a time to come by that same day. Tyler was the one who came to fix my leak -- he called when he was on his way and dealt with the problem efficiently and reasonably. Less than 24 hours after I found the leak, it was fixed.
This was a 100% positive experience -- something that often doesn't happen when you have to call a tradesman! I recommend these guys highly!

I picked this company due to high ratings on checkbook.org as I trust them more then YELP reviews. I called them on Friday morning and Larry did his utmost to get me an appointment on the afternoon of the same day. Taylor, Larry's son, came over within the time frame that I was told. He identified the source of the leak to be a loose housing on a drain pipe outside of the house in 30 seconds. He fixed it promptly and no leak since then. I am very happy with Taylor's work and his professionalism. I would have saved $280.0 (leak detector guy's fee which turned out to be very vague and inaccurate after all in this case) if I called this firm first.
A word of Advise: If you have a leak, call Clearwater first and then call a Leak Detection Company if needed. Most of the time, these guys can identify and fix the problem.
