ClearWater Plumbers
Company Overview
Since 1971, ClearWater Plumbers has been the go-to plumbing company in Fort Worth. Contact us now to discuss your plumbing needs!
The Longspaugh family, consisting of Jerry, Jeff, and Greg, launched ClearWater Plumbing in 1997. Jerry, the father, had been involved in home construction in NW Fort Worth since 1970 and held licenses as a Master Plumber, Master Electrician, and Professional Aerospace Engineer. The Longspaugh brothers spent their lives in the construction sector. Unfortunately, Greg died in a motorcycle crash, and Jerry faced health challenges.
Jeff and Amy Longspaugh revitalized the family business as ClearWater Plumbers in 2002. Our team has increased from just one to over 30 employees since that time. Every year, we enhance our services, aiming to make ClearWater Plumbers the finest choice for our clients and staff.

Marty E.Great professional service and the technician , Shane, was able to diagnose my plumbing problem accurately and fix the issue immediately. Very happy how quickly the repair was done and how reasonable the cost. Would highly recommend and will be using them in the future.
Jeremy and Omar were wonderful! Very friendly, hard-working, and solved my problem. Both of them worked very hard and had to overcome some unexpected surprises with my old plumbing, but it's now working perfectly. I'll always call Clearwater Plumbers when I need help in the future, and recommend them to everyone.
Claire K.always dependable, knowledgable. They quote before starting a job. I joined their 3 year membership program.
Ashley P.Just moved to Fort Worth a few months ago and was in need of a plumber. Corey as my Service Technician and recommended this company for your plumbing needs. Corey walked me threw everything and was easy to understand. I like that they call you when they are in there way.
Gil A.We recently moved to the Fort Worth area and it was our first time to need the services of a plumber. We contacted ClearWater because of the good ratings on YELP. They did not disappoint. Anthony & Victor handled the job with courtesy & were professional.
Granted, it was not a large job - replacing the inner workings of a kitchen faucet to stop it from leaking, but it's good to find a company that could take care of this. Anthony & Victor slipped on foot covers, used a tarp, cleaned up after the job and were overall very friendly. Anthony gave us options regarding repair, replace or upgrade so we could make an informed decision.
Don't like having plumbing problems, even minor ones, but we really enjoyed working with the folks from ClearWater!
Ryan K.The plumbing team called about 15 min ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. They worked to find the problem and gave a complimentary camera inspection which uncovered a few things we would not have known.
They resolved the issues within an hour and saved us lot's of painful stress.
Taylor D.While a burst water spigot was not awesome, my every interaction with Clearwater was. Incredibly kind, professional, thorough, and honest.
I loved that they called because they were *early* - something I just wasn't expecting. Once on the job, it was quick and easy: options were given and clear. And it didn't cost us an arm and a leg.
Many thanks, Clearwater, for a fantastic experience!
Awesome work today guys! Prompt, clean, efficient and extremely good customer service. Our family and friends have used the folks at Clearwater for over 15 years.
Lauren A.So very thankful we called Clearwater Plumbing for a possible leak problem between our and our neighbors home. They walked me through different options and even took the time to speak to my husband over the phone with what he believed the best recommendation would be. Jeremy and Daniel were both very progressional and we plan to call Clearwater Plumbers should any other issues arise at our home. Thank y'all so much again!
When we first moved here a couple years ago we had a slab leak in the bathroom. Called Clearwater then but they couldn't pencil us in for a day or two. We needed a fix asap. So we went onto the next plumber. I've since noticed a few things about where we live now: demand is greater than supply here. So this means, as so many have told me, you have to take what you can get and more often than not, you will pay more money for less. I've lived in many DFW cities but this is the first time I've seen the bar set so low that people are delighted just to have a service provider show up! And for some reason, people don't rate and review as much out here, so there are fewer services to compare online.
That being said, we had another slab leak, this time in the garage water heater closet. We decided to give Clearwater another chance since they've so many glowing reviews. Called early afternoon. Customer service (Belinda) was polite as expected. Once again, they were overbooked (coincidence?) and had to schedule us for the next day which would cost ME an extra fee bc THEY had to schedule on a Sunday. I don't mind paying extra for a job well done but instead of making me go overnight without water, I'd rather you hire the additional employees you need to come out on the same day to do the job as expected, and charge me accordingly on the front end in an honest way. Instead, it cost $158 just to get an estimate!
The two guys they sent came up with an option for us to pay $2536+ to explore and hopefully fix the problem, the same problem my husband had already diagnosed. Broken down that's $350 to dig slab, $712+ $736+ $280 for unspecified tasks plus $458 to reconnect the existing water heater! That's not a new water heater, mind you but the one we've already disconnected and moved out of the way for them! Of course, this is not counting if there are any unforeseen problems along the way. They also couldn't tell us when it would be done. This is more than DOUBLE what we paid to have the previous slab leak fixed.
Calling them was a waste of time. We had to cancel our plans, lost an extra day without water, not to mention, we essentially paid them $158 for nothing. We called out a second plumber for another opinion (who incidentally told me it was NOT customary for plumbers to charge for estimates after all, confirming I DID waster $158). Needless to say, we didn't use Clearwater and won't be calling them for any future issues.
