Plumber came out to a claim I made with my homeowners insurance. He was immediately very rude and unprofessional. He was with a lady he was telling what to write on the iPad then he went to his truck for 30 minutes. He sends the lady who he left in my home the whole time a message to collect the fee which was $85. He finally comes back in to say the problem with my whirlpool was not covered. This man NEVER looked or touched anything. He then tries to get me to pay $200 for a button/switch I later found cost $10. I paid another plumber to replace the button/switch only to discover that WAS NOT the problem, it was the motor which IS covered under the warranty I pay every month. BE AWARE!!!

Our warranty hired this company to come out and diagnosis a leak we had. The guy came over and literally looked at the heater for 2 seconds which we had to pay an $85 service fee and said it needed to be replaced. Our warranty company denied the claim because they don't cover leaks from a water heater. This """"service technician"""" quoted my warranty company $1,615 to replace the water heater that I would have to pay out of pocket for. I contacted multiple over plumbing services and no one was anywhere near that high. We ended up buying a water heater and having another plumber install it. Only for brand new to leak. He also pressurized our old water heater and it wasn't leaking at all. Clear Water Group should have and could've spend more than 2 seconds looking at the problem and would have seen that it wasn't a water heater problem at all. Instead all the guy did was look at water on the floor say it needed to be replace and continually badgered me to pay the $85 service fee which clearly I was going to. There was an actual leak in the wall which wasn't near as expensive to fix. Instead we bought a brand a new water heater and paid installation costs off the recommendation of our warranty company's technician who clearly didn't know what he was talking about. Please do your research on this company before you hire them out to do any work for you because they are likely not going to do a thorough diagnosis and will try to charge astronomical prices for nothing!

When the service guy came to my house to assess my water heater, he had on a ridiculous amount of cologne; so much that I still smelled him up to 15 minutes after he'd left. I used my emergency inhaler then I sat in my sunroom while he was there because it was so overpowering. He said the H20 heater needed to be replaced. So I called the warranty company AND Clear Water Group and told them to make sure the team that returned to replace the H20 heater was not wearing any kind of fragrance because I have severe allergies and asthma. I left my house for about 30 minutes driving around. When I returned I had to use my nebulizer. Between 4/21/2021 and 5/3/2021 (yesterday) the actual scheduled replacement visit, I talked with the lady at Clear Water Group at least 8 times - this is not exaggeration, I checked my phone log. Each time I spoke with her, I iterated my NO FRAGRANCES requirement and asked her if she notated that I had that requirement. She said she had it in the notes. Yet, one day after her saying that, the service man and woman show up at my house wearing stanking cologne/perfume. I was sitting on my sofa working from home, but I had to leave the comfort of my living room because it's heavily saturated with a stanking fragrance. I called the Clear Water Group to speak with the woman who assured me that the service people would not be wearing fragrance, but the guy who was at my house doing the repair answered the call. I asked if he was the person who was upstairs in my attic. He said yes. I told him that I requested that they were fragrance free, yet they are wearing cologne and perfume. He said he was never told that or given that information, then said, """"we'll be out of here in about an hour"""". No duh, you're not going to stay after you're done. He continued by essentially telling me to get off the phone so he can finish because they have the heater disconnected. I'm sitting in the driveway in my car typing this review. I had simple requests: wear masks, wear footies over your outside shoes, and NO FRAGRANCES. They did not respect my wishes as a customer. When they finished the work, he stood in front of the hood of my car. He waved his hands around, moved his lips and then walked to the left side of my driveway and bent down. I guess he was saying something. So I put my mask on and rolled my passenger side window down and asked, """"what did you say""""? He responded, """"go in the house and make sure your water is hot"""". I went in the house and checked. it was hot. Before I came back out, I wiped my interior door knobs that they had touched. I heard him say something. I gave him the thumbs up. Then opened the door and wiped the exterior door handle. He asked, """"Is something wrong?"""" I said, """"No."""" Then he asked, """"You want me to mop the floor?"""" He was trying to be facetious, but I responded anyway, """"No, I can do that""""? Meanwhile, the lady with him is giving me the 1,000 yard stare. I gave it right back because my house reeks of cologne and perfume because of them. I sprayed vinegar and sat out some bowls of vinegar, hopefully that will soak up the odor and I can go back in the house soon.

Was very impressed with the communication and professionalism of this company. They kept me informed of everything that they were doing. They showed up on time and went straight to it. Although our plumbing issue was a simple fix they preformed admirably. I would used them again.

First, gotta say, I read the previous reviews and as my three experiences go, each one was positive. The communication is excellent, I received a confirmation call the night before and this morning when they were on their way. My first experience was with a toilet that wouldn't flush. I went through my home warranty and the work was completed exactly how we expected it to. Second experience, our toilet was acting up again. As nice as it is to have the type of toilet we have with buttons on top to push rather than a handle, it isn't a good toilet. I even had an issue with a clogged sink and he fixed that too. Melvin came out an hour after I called and fixed it again for free. Third experience, my kitchen sink faucet was not one we liked, it was giving us issues. We bought a new one and Melvin installed it and fixed a leak underneath that I wasn't even aware of. He was extremely reasonable and didn't charge me more for the issue. We have an issue with sinks having low water pressure right now and it's a matter of further investigation with the town of Lexington. Melvin is handling it and plans on coming back out. I sincerely appreciate his efforts because he could have just said, you have an adequate amount of pressure that's reading from the valve and be done with it but he's taking the extra step to make it right. I will recommend this company to everyone that is looking for a quality, honest and reasonable plumber for now on. It's hard to find a company that's reliable and does great work, this company is amazing and I'm so glad they are in business.
