BUYER BEWARE!!!! Stay away from this company. The owner is a scam artist. Requests 1/2 the amount quoted upfront ""it's for plumbing supplies in order to start work,"" wrote a check for 2k, cancelled directly with him a few short hours later, no problem, I'll forward to bookkeeping for you to be refunded. Follow up two weeks later because still no check or wire transfer. No answer. A week later, ""Good morning just sent you $2000 deposit via zelle."" Nothing in my account. Follow up #2, there is no money in my account. His response, ""Let me check."" Receive response two weeks later, ""It was mailed Monday the zelle was returned."" Never received the check. Follow up #3 still waiting for a reply since the beginning of August. Do Not AND I MEAN DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY!!!!! Bad business practices, lies and steals. I now understand why your foot was in a boot.
Andrew E.Rolando is my go to plumber & hvac service. He has a team of technicians that are very available. I recently had a leaking hot water heater and he had a technician to the property within 30 minutes. Very responsive, very reliable and super professional work. I highly recommend him. -- Andrew Elkins, Realtor, Jill Biggs Group, Coldwell Banker, Jersey City & Hoboken
I have been a patron of Clear Flow for many years. Whenever I have a plumbing issue, there is no one else for me to call. They arrive when scheduled. If they are delayed, they communicate it. They are very courteous and considerate of your time, which is very important for me. The workmanship and attention to detail is excellent. Plumbing can be messy work, but they clean up after the job is done! Whatever your plumbing needs are, Clear Flow has you covered!!!!!
We have used Clear Flow over several years for both small jobs like a leaking sink and larger ones like replacing our heating boiler. We cannot say enough how pleased we have been always with their service. They respond promply, do excellent work and charge a fair price. The aways answer all questions and offer good advice. They are always our first choice. Wehighly recommend them.
Rolando (the Owner) was very responsive. Came the next day and fixed various plumbing needs I had in the house. His price was decent too.
I had my hot water heater in Hoboken installed two years ago and the plumber recommended I service the boiler to extend the life. He quoted me approximately $600 to change the expansion tank, some relief valves, etc. I've been told the material would likely cost less than $150, so $450 for labor seemed steep. I went on Angie's List and Clear Flow called me immediately. Ronaldo asked why I was replacing all the parts and I said I wasn't sure. I asked him to send someone out to inspect it and determine if I should even have any work done at all. This call occurred on a Friday and the following Monday two servicemen came out to look it over. They said that although a bit of heat is escaping from the unit, they didn't feel it would be necessary to replace anything at this moment. They did not charge for this check-in. I will be keeping their contact info for future reference.
Colleen R.I can't begin to describe how wonderful everyone in the company is. I hired them to fix a sump pump pit and add a pipe from the sump pump to an existing drain. After they finished the job and were testing the new setup, we found water was coming in my apartment. They stayed an extra 3 hours troubleshooting where the water was coming from, including breaking through walls when needed. It ended up being an outdoor faucet pipe that had cracked in the wall and was ruing things. They were there for a total of 7 1/2 hours and never complained. I offered for them to come back another day to fix the new issue, but they kept saying that they didn't want to leave me with issues. I've had plumbers in the past not want to take the time to break through a wall and find the issues, who didn't test things thoroughly and leave while there were still issues. These guys were a breath of fresh air.
Let me paint a picture. 2 Family house. I live in upstairs unit. Saturday afternoon, I'm making some homemade bread in my oven and I open our backdoor (where we throw out our recycling). I smell something that I've never smelled before. So I decide to follow the smell and it leads me to the boiler room in the basement.
It's a typical boiler room: dirty, has a lot of unnecessary things in it, and it's got some old boilers and water heaters. I created a reddit post in /r/homeimprovement and think nothing of it.
But I can't shake the feeling. Something is odd. Why this smell when I turned on my oven? And how come my carbon monoxide detectors have not gone off? Something was odd. So I call PSEG and tell them I potentially smell gas.
PSEG goes through my house, and lo' and behold, gas leak.. for both units. PSEG puts locks on both gas meters. Winter is coming, so I call up some hvac people on yelp and agree to have someone come on Monday. Okay, although it will be cold, we can hold out until then.
Monday comes, the HVAC crew did not realize that there were locks on the meters and cannot do the job so I'm scrambling and call up 8 plumbers. Rolando (from Clear Flow) picks up my call and I tell him my situation about how we haven't had heat nor hot water for 2 days. Not just me, but my neighbors too.
Rolando springs into action and takes two of his guys off another job asap (sorry to whomever they were helping before) and send them over to my spot. They fix the gas leaks right away.
It gets better though. The next day, PSEG comes to review their work and no more gas leak, but then they fire up my boiler and realize that my heat exchanger has been broken on the boiler for some time. This is particularly dangerous because CO is dispersing everywhere and this can also cause a fire.
I call up Rolando again that night. The following day he comes out and replaces the boiler and boom now we have heat.
Rolando at Clear Flow went above and beyond for my family and my tenants. Without him, our situation could have been quite awful. We're very thankful to Rolando and the rest of the team at Clear Flow.
Daniela S.Great experience with this company! The owner was responsive and even offered to give me an estimate via pictures before coming out. The two guys that came were very professional and explained everything to me. They were able to fix my shower on the first visit- so easy and efficient with time and schedule. The price was more than reasonable and the job was well done. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Ethel Lynn O.Clear Flow is completely unprofessional and a total ripoff. I called them to work on my steam heating system, because my go-to plumber was out of town. I have a 2-family house and a few radiators were leaking or not working at all. They came in, flushed the system and told me the radiators were fixed. I'm actually not even sure if they flushed the system or did a simple bottom blowdown - a partial cleaning that I could have done myself. They also unnecessarily replaced two radiator vents that were brand new and had nothing to do with the issue. When my tenants came in they informed me that the radiators were still leaking and not working at all. They charged me over $600 and when I tried to contact them again to troubleshoot the issue they disregarded me. Every time I asked them to reschedule me they told me to call back on the following Monday to reschedule. Eventually I gave up, which is probably what they wanted, since they already got their money. The company was referred to me by someone else who has also discontinued their service due to incomplete jobs and unprofessional behavior.
