We have used this company several times for our main drain line in the 6+ years we have owned our home. Service has always been fast and courteous. So when our washer standpipe started overflowing yet again, I called them out. This was the last time I will ever call them.

They did send someone out (I didn't catch his name, he didn't introduce himself), but the 20 minute heads-up call that someone was on their way came as he was literally ringing our doorbell, I showed him down to the area where our main drain is located, he repeatedly asked about our bulkhead doors. Our bulk head is in ill-repair, so we don't use it, and don't really want to be liable for anyone else using it, so I said it was not accessible (he asked 3 more times after that). He asked when our last date of service was, I couldn't remember, it has been over 2 years, so he said he had to ""ask his girl"", so he trucks outside cell phone in his pocket to do so. I already had a bad feeling from all of the negativity being spewed at me, direct quote: ""You guys are killing me.""

5 minutes later he rings the door and states that due to a reoccurring knee injury, he can not perform the job, and he is apparently the only tech that works for the company, because he offered no other tech that would be available tomorrow, next day, etc, he did give me 2 names of ""buddies"" of his that may be able to do the job... Hmmm, to trust his recommendation... ?!?

Apparently, they are not to worried about keeping repeat business.

We had clogged toilet and bathroom sink drains. Someone came from this company and cleared drains but afterwards there was a sound of running water in wall. My wife called and asked someone to come out and they said maybe next day. Two days later she called to ask again and was told to ""blow it out your keister."" Not joking

Nightmare situation on a Saturday night where our main drain was backed up! Called these guys and someone was at my house literally within 30min. Awesome/friendly guy showed up at 9pm in a great mood and was very easy to work with. He looked over all the pipes and drains and knew right away it would be just an easy fix by sending a snake down to unclog the drain. All said and done he was there about an hour and was able to get our drain clear. Safe to say these guys saved our wknd.

Timeline of events... I opened Yelp, searched ""drain"" called this company and within 2hrs the problem was resolved!!

I couldn't get my usual plumber to return my call, but they responded right away and came in a few hours. The work was done quickly and thoroughly for a reasonable flat fee.

I had Tom from Clean Drains lined up to do a job in conjunction with another contractor on a Sunday morning. Tom got to the site 10 mins early (according to him) and the other contractor was late. 20 minutes after the original start time, Tom called me, swore and said he was leaving the job leaving me in a real bind. When I tried to talk to him he just kept swearing and saying he was waiting there for 40 mins - which was a lie. I offered to pay him $50 more just to stay and wait for a few more minutes. He hung up on me.

I deal with 100's of contractors from Maine to Florida - for over 15 years. I have never had an encounter like that before - ever. I suggest you find someone else for your drain work.
