Tonight while I was at my hockey game, I got a call from my wife telling me our showers and toilets were backing up. Clearly that's what you wanna hear while you're driving home at 7pm and completely sweaty and sticky.

She checked on yelp and found Classic Drains and told me about their reviews and ratings. I have to shower this filth off me so there was no choice.. we needed a plumber.

We called and they said they'd be at our home within an hour. 25min later when I got home my wife told me they'd be here in 5min (yes, they gave us updates at to their arrival).

When Brian got here, my man wasted not time at all. He got to work and fixed the problem. We have root intrusion in our lines and this is something we're going to have to deal with soon. The news wasn't the greatest, but my man was completely honest and upfront about the situation. What more could you ask for?!

Brian fixed our problem quickly and professionally. There is no doubt that if/when I encounter plumbing problems in the future, I'll give these guys a call!

Needed someone to unclog our toilet ASAP. It was a Sunday afternoon. Gave them a ring and after 30 minutes Brian returned my call saying that he'd be by in another two hrs. We got a few text messages keeping us posted; Brian also called giving a heads up.
When he arrived, he promptly got to work. He was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about our situation. He remedied the problem easily, quickly, and bleached the area afterwards.
Prices were surprising considering it was over the weekend and on call. I would DEFINITELY recommend these guys and use them again if necessary.

Completely disgusted with James the owner of this company. My father who is 85 years old was hung up on when he tried to call the main number for the business and spoke with the owner. My father had an appointment that one of his employees made during the weekend. The owner was rude and did not want to even give my dad an estimate for the work his employee already quoted. Then the owner told my dad that there would be a travel charge from Salinas to North Monterey (Elkhorn Rd.) even though we live in the same County.

When my father confirmed that one of his employees took some time out to stop by and take a look at the plumbing work the owner stated that they are not supposed to give out quotes unless he knows about it. He would not even agree to the quote that my father was given and when he stated that he was a Veteran and a Senior the owner didn't even seem to care. While on the phone my father started getting upset for being disrespected and James (the owner) ended the call by hanging up on him.

Customer Service should be on the top of the list for this company and treating my father the way James did when it was his own employee that gave the quote is poor business practice and poor customer service. We'll be going with someone else to have the work done with an estimate for repairs at a cost of $600.00 to $1,000.00.

If you want to be treated with respect consider someone else for your plumbing work.

Discovered this morning we had to replace our 50 gal. waterheater. We have used this company before for average drain problems and wanted to stick with them. James and a helper came out within an hour of my call. The helper left to pick up all equipment while James stayed and prepped the area. Very knowledgeable and professional. Didn't waste time, worked efficiently, awesome job. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Arrived on time and replaced my water heater (slightly complicated) in the time estimated and for the price quoted. Yes, he(James) was busy when I called but called me back that evening with all the right info and totally professional. Worth any wait that may be experienced in my opinion.

Every time Classic Plumbing has been on time, clean, and professional. James installed my dishwasher and did a bathroom fix. He was there when he said he would be. I recommend Classic.

I had a pipe leak in my garage the day after Thanksgiving. I called my plumber and he was out of town for the holiday weekend. I asked him for a recommendation and he advised me to call Classic Drains and Plumbing. I called them and told them my problem. They were quick to call me back and make arrangements to come out. This was about 2:30pm and Brian said he was busy with several appointments and wouldn't be able to respond out until around 7pm, but would try his best to come out earlier if he could. When I finally got here he was very nice and personable. He assured me that although it was after regular business hours he would charge me the regular rate because my call came in before the end of the business day. He also did not charge holiday rates. It took him about 45 minutes to fix the problem. And the cost was much less than I had anticipated. I'm very thankful for their help. I highly recommend this company if you are in need assistance.

Today I called Classic Drains and Plumbing for the first time. We often need a plumber and I like to arrange the service call early in the morning, before 8:00am. Unlike their competitors, Class Drains and Pluming is open 24 hours and James, the owner, answered the phone around 7:30am. I needed two bath faucets with diverters replaced and a cover on the shower water faucet tightened. James had Brian come to our place to do the work. He had the parts in hand and was competent, friendly, and efficient. He got the job done in under an hour. This is a good solid plumbing company that is ethical, has fair prices and is customer service focused. I highly recommend Classic Drains and Plumbing.

I can sum up my experience with Classic Drains & Plumbing in one word -- GREAT!! James returned my call quickly and was able to send Brian out within a half hour! Brian installed our new kitchen faucet in no time, and couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. He even offered to put all the cleaning supplies back under the sink! Amazing. Thank you so much.
