Owner is lazy. I called 4 times before he finally came to look at the job. Then he didn't even fix it. Just said he would be back the next day. Well guess what he didn't show. Got a hold of him and he said sorry he is so backed up doing paper work. Thing Is I saw him 3 times that day and he was doing nothing each time. Sat at Panera bread on his phone. Heard him talking about going to LA. I called another guy who works there and he said the boss never told him anything about the work I needed done. He came and fixed it right away and was gone in less than 15 minutes! Told him he should take over the company because he actually cares!!

I called and left a message for a small plumbing job. I got a call back within an hour or so the job was then scheduled for the next day. The next day came and they were a no show and did not call either. I left two messages and have still not heard back. Do not recommend.

Clark came out twice - once on 09/18 to diagnose a leaky water heater and on 09/20 to install a water heater we purchased locally. 9/18 was one hour of work and 9/20 was three hours. The work was performed fine. The technician was respectful and courteous and did great work. Thank you, Joe. Unfortunately we were overcharged for the technician's time (five hours). Apparently they charge for drive time To and FROM a job. Wow, really?

I paid the $700 bill in full and then I called Stephanie on 09/20 (office manager, I believe) to discuss this with her and she agreed to a partial refund, Stephanie agreed to refund us ""$100 -125"". She said they should have mentioned the drive time charge on our original phone call. I was happy we had come to an agreement and I hung up satisfied we were being charged fairly.

On 10/3 we received a $69 check with a LENGTHY note attached. The note made several inaccurate statements about the technician's time. No need to make this review any longer.

The management at Clark Plumbing admitted they overcharged us but didn't refund us what they said they would. I won't use them again and I would not recommend them based on my conversations with their office manager and billing practices. -KG

Had an emergency plumbing appointment that I made yesterday for 2pm today and rearranged my schedule. Didn't show up or call and I have left two voicemails. I would expect better service as they were referred by my mom who has used them for 20 years!

Clark Plumbing installed a Tankless water heater for us about 2 years ago and it was the best investment we have made. We now have an endless supply of hot water. Joe and Clayton did a great job of making the install work when another company said it was not possible in that location. They took extra time to relocate water lines and gas lines to make sure the installation was done correctly. We recently had regular maintenance done on it and Joe came back out to do the service. He was professional and friendly as always. Thank you!

Clark Plumbing in Champaign has done work for us several times including laying iron pipe, troubleshooting drainage problems that ultimately resulted in excavating a sewer line, and installing shut-off valves. Have always been very happy with their service, their promptness, and their rates. Also happy with their recommendations, such as Schoonover for simple drain-unplugging and an excavating outfit for backhoe work.
