A while back I tried showing the unfriendly guy behind the counter a photo of the water pump I needed for my boiler. ""I don't look or go based on photos"" . he also said, they will not allow me to exchange the pump if it's the wrong size. Really? never again will I go there.

Never open on a Saturday, when non contractors are available to do work on there house. Showroom if you don't have an appointment they don't even come to the door.

I came to C&L plumbing to completely renovate my bathroom. My old bathroom was gutted and I had a whole new bathroom installed. I purchased my mirrors, glass shower doors, vanities & hardware from them. The customer service was excellent - MaryAnn was the best . She was professional, courteous & had some great ideas when I was confused or didn't know what to choose, she always steered me in the right direction & always tried to save me $ while doing it.
I highly recommend this business for your bathroom remodeling job.

This is the ONLY place you should go if you need plumbing supplies and someone competent to assist you. If you need specialty items, everyday plumbing supplies, Fixtures, advice, etc then head over to C&L Plumbing in Lynbrook.
Sure you could get some items from one of the big shop stores but if you need a pro's help this is the place you go. Steve helped me out big time. The rest of the staff are a motivated and knowledgeable crew. I was able to get 3"" copper no-hub clamps here, something that is impossible to find. These guys walked me through some issues I had and went out of their way to help me.

Eleven years ago, we purchased a kitchen sink and faucet from C & L. They were very accommodating and their prices were great. Last month, the faucet started leaking and we needed to replace it. We went back to C&L and told them what happened. Ed contacted the rep for our faucet and arranged for a FREE replacement. Apparently, we were under warranty. I just love how kind and considerate Ed was in handling this ""order"" even though we were not paying for the replacement. We had the replacement within five days. This is the way a business should be run. Customers last forever not just until they pay their bill. I'll be sure to go to C&L for any and all plumbing supplies. I definitely will recommend C&L to EVERYONE!!

Showroom is beautiful and inviting with many pieces on display. The staff is accommodating and straightforward. I worked with Ed who was fair, good pricing, very accommodating when I needed to make a change, honorable about a refund that was due. When I expressed a difference of opinion, Ed did not push me off but checked it out and followed it up with the manufacturer and fought for me. Really appreciated every part of my dealings with them. Love my new Blanco faucet which was one of the several things I purchased.

There are many options to choose from within the store, the employees were friendly, pleasant and busy. Hard to get someone if you don't already have an appointment.

They have an absolutely beautiful & gorgeous selection of items. Very disappointed with staff. Woman I spoke with told me she was ""Just Tired"" - I wish I would have spoken to the angry guy that was next to her; as he seemed tired - but, was extremely more knowledgeable. I honestly think if staff/employees took a bit more interest & didn't treat me like an inferior being, that they would have made a nice sale. Unbelievable. Another example of, it goes to show you - you are better off buying things on the internet. I won't return - I took plenty of pictures on my iPhone. Totally unreal. Must you go to Manhattan for everything, now a days. Dear Owner - If you are reading this, you should know that I traveled all the way from Brooklyn today - only to be ignored by your employees that couldn't be bothered. I'm a Physician. I work hard and would have been a loyal customer, if someone actually took an interest. Unbelievable. Let me start by saying that I rarely write a positive review for anyone, but these guys deserve it. Having recently purchased a house in the neighborhood, my bathroom needed some updating. I hired a contractor and ran into world of troubles. Ended up firing the guy and decided to do things myself.
C and L is my local plumbing store and choose them (even though the others are closer) primarily due to customer service. Besides customer service C and L is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and even give you ideas to fix mess ups my contractor did. The store itself has pretty much everything you can imagine, even those hard to find specialty items. Its nice to know that in the world of home repair there is still some shops around that know their ship and can really help you out, C and L is one of them.
