I called and the owner answered with ""CK Purcell Plumbing"". I didn't hear (possible network issue with phone). I asked again ""is this CK plumbing""?. He didn't acknowledge but rather said ""what did you need""?. I asked again ""is this CK plumbing"". And he's like ""well yea, I said that when I picked up the phone"". He sounded irritated just over a phone call. I told him if you're gonna be rude, I'll call other 100 plumbing companies in town. Before he could say his piece, I hung up on this clown.
I was calling to get the Rhino EQ-1000 with couple upgrades installed in my home but I'd rather take my business somewhere else.
If this guy is rude off a simple misunderstanding over a 5 second phone call. How well do you think he's gonna respect you and your home when he's on the job.

Horrible customer service. They didn't return phone calls or text messages. They showed up when no one was home then call and refused to do the job. Very unprofessional!! Very rude on phone!

We woke to a gas leak at our home at 5:15 AM Fire Dept came out, then the gas company and could not find the leak. They suggested calling a plumber. We called Chris and he made an appointment in a day. He came out to rural Fresno county and went to great lengths to get us restored. First going and getting parts we needed, then seeing where the leak was at the water heater he also went to pick up and install the water heater the same day. He made sure we were safely hooked up having pressure tested and a new water heater installed we were able to sleep soundly that night. Waking to a gas leak is a very scary ordeal, we felt safe with Chris.

I had a significant water leak between the city's meter and my building, and I needed it repaired quickly to restore water to my business office. Based on a recommendation from a co-worker, we called CK Purcell Plumbing. Someone was able to come at look at the situation within a few hours. It was unclear what the cost would be since the pipes needed to be uncovered, and that required a lot digging. From the beginning, the owner was up front about the cost estimate and how it could change depending on the circumstances. There were no surprises, and when the job did require more time, he made me aware of it and showed me the situation. The plumber completing the repair continued to work on the project until it was finished and cleaned up after he was done. I highly recommend this business.

I feel like at first I was getting a good honest company... But the more questions I asked, the more I was taken back by who was actually working in my home and if they were being honest about the quote they had given the home warranty company. I got a lot of reverse answers to my questions as the days went on. At first no masonry work could be done (after 3 giant holes have been shot through my fire place with a JACK HAMMER!!!!). Then once the check was handed over, suddenly masonry work could be done at an additional cost?!?! WTF RIGHT? I was quoted for 2 men working TWO ten hour days. I only had one man. AND he did not work ten hour days, I took note of everything. So my logical thinking, ""shouldn't I be paying less out of pocket?"" SHAME ON ME FOR ASKING THE OWNER! He immediately shot back with ""after everything we've done"" and ""I can't believe this is even up for discussion."" First of all, I am a first time home owner and my BF is out of town so YES I am going to ask all necessary questions!!! I think if you know what you should be paying out of pocket then this is a decent company to work with.....

Great service! Our water heater had a leak Chris was able to get a new one installed the same day. If you are looking for a honest locally owned business to help with your plumbing these are the guys to call.
Thanks Chris for all your help!

Thank goodness for this company! They came out within a few hours of my call! Did the job the same day. Did the job for half of my first quote. I would recommend them to everyone!

Quotes price of labor & parts based on how big house is & wealthy customer might look... Didn't even bother to try to figure out problem.. Just said everything needs to be replaced... Horrible... Called different company to come out & fixed faulty wire only.. Easy!

Update: I am raising my rating from one star, ""Methinks not"" to 2 stars, ""I've experienced better."" I received a call from Chris Purcell who had read my very negative review below. Chris told me that he did not mean that I needed the flush kit, but rather the valving to attach the flush kit. Apparently plumbers also refer to this as a flush kit. I watched a Youtube video and, indeed, they said, ""if you don't have this installed, you can't continue."" This was not made clear in my original conversation with Chris. I indeed do not have that valving. Why the builder would not have provided flush capability, I do not know. Also, I have now found many vendors available who will do this work for much less money. I have no doubt that Chris and his team can flush a tankless water heater and clean the burner with no problem, but you might want to shop around.
I got a flyer on my door from CK Plumbing that said they could flush a Rinai tankless water heater and they would give 10% off with the flyer. Chris quoted me $275 minus 10% to flush the water heater and clean the burner. When the technician came out, Chris called me back and told me that I would also need a $225 flush kit. I told him to forget it. He told me he would have to charge something for the technician coming out. I told him to go ahead and if I got a bill I would not pay it and if a collection agency contacted me, I would contact my attorney. He quoted me $275 and did not ask if I had a flush kit. From what I can tell from the internet so far, flush kits are re-usable for any tankless hot water heater. Should I have to buy pipe wrenches as well?

The owner of this company was driving like a bat out of hell this morning. He was flying down Armstrong at 8:15 am while kids were walking to school at Oraze elementary. I was in front of him. He proceeded to tail gate me to Ashlan where I turned to head towards fowler. He tailed me all down Ashlan when he could have easily got in the other lane to pass me. I was obeying all traffic laws and driving the correct speed limit going with the flow of traffic during a busy traffic hour. I turned into the Starbucks parking lot where he zoomed through only to get caught up with construction. He then got behind me and honked his horn, threw his arms up at me, flipped me off and stuck his tongue out at me like a 5 year old child. I hope you know I had my 1 YEAR OLD CHILD in the back. A mom should never fear their child (and myself) is in danger because you needed your coffee. He put his phone up to take a picture of my car (which I hope he did) and when I turned around to take a picture of his plates, he then threw his business card up for me to come get, as if because he owns a company rules didn't apply to him. I hope your cup of coffee was worth it. The fact he acted like a child, when he's pushing 70 years old, really shows what kind of a person he is. I'll be referring all clients and friends to Fresno Plumbing.
