Had two new toilets installed. Very fair price and easy to get a quote. Arrived on time and did great work. Owner is very fast to respond and plumber who did the work was very nice and professional. Very honest and no BS or trying to upsell. Will definitely be using them for the additional plumbing work I need done.

CJ Plumbing came through for us quickly and perfectly, even over a weekend leading up to the Winter Holdays. We had an awful burning plastic smell start coming through our house and wondered if it could be the furnace or something plumbing-related. We found them through a search and called on a Sunday. We spoke in-person to Dmitry and got service set up the following Monday.

Lenny was our plumber, and he quickly diagnosed our issue as a failing sewer ejector pump. He had all of the materials ready to go on his truck at a reasonable price and was able to do the job in only two hours. He also helped out with improving the shower flow in our main bathroom and replacing the batteries on our sump pump backup generator.

I know a lot of people are going to balk at a labor rate of $275/hr, but CJ Plumbing was incredibly responsive and efficient. Also, the whole cliche of ""you can pay now or pay even more later."" We'll definitely reach out to them first with any issues in the future.

S and J Plumbing was the only company that gave a personal reply. They set up an appointment the next day. Chris was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He ordered a new part to repair my leaking shower and the job was completed in 10 days. He even returned with a new hose for the shower head as it wasn't quite the right color. I highly recommend them and will use them to replace my water heater .

My wife and I were just talking about the numerous times that Dmitry, Dmitry, and Lenny have come to our house and helped us with our plumbing travails. They are honest, thorough, kind, and have saved us time and again. Most recently, we had a sewer gas leak from a broken toilet. This is my second wonderful experience with CJ Plumbing. I call them around noon yesterday about a major clog in our kitchen sink. Three hours later Dmitry pulled in front of our house and fixed the problem. He also clearly explained the cause of the problem to us. On top of that, he couldn't be more polite or personable. CJ Plumbing is exceptionally responsive, skilled, pleasant and reasonably priced. As I said in my last review, I've found my new plumber!

I've worked with CJ Plumbing a handful of times recently, a couple of times for small projects like a leaking toilet and later a clogged toilet (due to a plastic toy my son flushed), and for a larger project when we needed to have our ejector pump replaced. Working with CJ Plumbing has always been painless. Dmitry has always been quickly to respond and schedule service, and Lenny has done great, tidy, and efficient work. Their prices are fair and they're in and out before I know it -- they're my go-to plumbers and I see no reason to call anybody else.

I read reviews of plumbers serving in Highland Park from several sources. On ""Yelp"" and other sites I read that CJ Plumbing Serving Highland Park, with the owner named Dmitry, was reasonable and helpful. I was very disappointed about my experience. They charge $275 an hour, minimum charge it seems is $275.00. The shower faucet had a slow drip. I contacted Delta Faucets and they sent me a replacement cartridge for free. CJ Plumbing sent out a plumber who took apart the valve and put in the new cartridge. He noticed that another part needed to be replaced so the repair would last. That took him perhaps 30 minutes. I did not know which part he needed but I was told he could find one and he bring it by on the way to or from work. It sounded like a simple matter.

After a month I received a call that they were able to get the part. They said it took them a lot of trips trying several supply houses to find it. They never contacted Delta which I had told them had the replacement parts. I asked if there was a charge and was told that the part was only $10 but they had to charge for one hours labor since they had to locate the part. It took the other plumber perhaps 10 minutes to replace this small plastic piece. I was charged another $275.00. I also realized that instead of spending a month's time looking for the small plastic piece- for $13 they could have purchased a new handle and just pushed it on. As nice as the people were who came to my house, I still cannot recommend CJ Plumbing.
