Price gouging at its finest. This company does not have a set hourly labor rate. Or if they do, they don't adhere to it. They seem to charge whatever they can get away with. I admit it is my fault for letting the man proceed with the work but that is no excuse for the companies lack of integrity.
I had a mainline water leak and I was 99% sure that it was under the house as I had a new mainline installed from the meter to the house 5 years ago. The man from City Wide wanted to install a shut-off valve at the point before the line goes under the house. Thus eliminating the possibility of a break between the meter and the house. Okay I said, simple enough.
I had already dug up the area where the shut-off valve would go so he had to do very little digging. He went to (probably) Home Depot to buy a $15.00 shut-off valve and returned in 30 minutes. The entire job from start to finish took about two hours.
Even if the company is charging $90/hr the bill should be no more than $250. I was quoted $450 but he gave me a ""discount"" and only charged me $370.
Needless to say, the leak was under the house and because of the price gouging, City Wide did not get the big job of re-routing my main water line.
If you are going to use this company, ask them what they charge per hour and then get them to bid the job accordingly.

I was generally satisfied with the work. My toddler
son poured paraffin wax down our master bath drain, clogging it badly. They needed to replace the P trap and they'd have to access it from underneath so that meant going through our living room ceiling. They told us that we would have to fix the drywall ourselves, which was fine, but they ended up cutting two holes because they misjudged where the drain was and didn't bother to measure so now I have not one but two holes in my living room ceiling. I feel like they should have at least fixed the one they created by mistake. They didn't say anything or even bother to apologize. The whole thing has left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will not be using this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone. When I was originally given a time estimate the plumbers didn't show up or contact me to inform me they wouldn't be there. I had to call again for ANOTHER time estimate. And to top it all off one of the plumbers left his tools in the hole in my ceiling and had to come back later in the week to come retrieve them. It was very unprofessional

City wide was the first company to actually say ""we can be there tomorrow."" Which is the kind of attentiveness I needed. They diagnosed our problems and resolved them in a speedy matter at a reasonable price. I recommend them!

Thank you for the prompt response. I had problems with the water line few years back and called city wide plumbing. They were at my house very fast and they fixed the problem .

Just had another liking and called them and Danny showed up within 20 minutes and he told me it was a sprinkler problem . Very professional and helpful.
Marcos always been very helpful when I called and show up in no time to fix the problems I had .

We had City Wide Plumbing come out to our house to give us an estimate to run a new sewer line. We got estimates from a few companies and City Wide was one of the companies to give us the best price. They also have us a great price on replacing our main water line. We felt that they presented themselves the best so we hired them for the job. They started the job the very next day and got the job done in a very timely manner. The whole crew was very polite and courteous through the whole process. They were very informative every step of the way. They also did a great job at putting our yard and landscaping back together when they were done. We will definitely use them again for our next plumbing problem.
