Wanted/needed to get our sewer cleaned out after many years - do not ask.

Being in the middle of a big remodel, it is probably a good idea to make sure everything else is in good shape as we go forward.

I called, City Sewer came out next day, on time, employee was excellent, left the work area spotless, answered my few questions on how things were as he worked and on the progress.

In and out in an hour or so, certainly reasonable time for the job, 85-foot run +/-.

Everything checked out fine, couldn't be happier with the personnel and service.

Now, I can forget about the 'outflow' for a while, a real relief.

NOTE: These days service personnel are extremely busy, and had they said we had to wait a few days, it was OK. This was NOT an emergency, maybe we just got lucky.

Hats off to anyone in a service industry these days, working under pressured time and conditions in many cases.

Our plumber recommended City Sewer as my mom's bathroom plumbing was backing up. We called, they said they could come the next day... but despite calling that next afternoon to say they were heading her way- never showed! Then when she called the next morning, they said they had other jobs to do and maybe wouldn't be able to get there till the following day. Three days without a bathroom! So we called Action Sewer instead- came out that same day and fixed it!! The clog was right where we thought it must be (which City kept saying it couldn't be there- it must be in the basement) So skip City Sewer and call Action Sewer.

We had a backed up shower and toilet and prepared for a weekend of yuck followed by a huge bill the next week. I called City Sewer Friday morning, and they were out that afternoon. A very friendly young man took care of the tree roots blocking the pipe in less than an hour for a very reasonable price.

I live in an apartment building with 2 floors above me. There was a clog somewhere in the line below my kitchen sink (which happened to be the same one my bath tub ran into). I had called other plumbing companies, but they were days out of being able to visit me. I called City Sewer and they said they would be out in a few hours. They were right on time. The plumber asked questions and looked around. He diagnosed the issue and took care of it in no time. I expected at least a $200 bill for the work, but was pleasantly surprised when it was under $100. I would definitely call again. They were fast and efficient. Thanks City Sewer! :D
