My water heater pilot went out. I callsd gas company which in turn turned off my gas to the water heater. I had anotber company put it in and did an absolute sloppy job. Throughout the years I had them come out because I always smell gas leak. Long stoy I saw reviews for Whittier Ciity Plummer. I call Monday morning and Carl came out replaced same day and cleaned up tucked flex tubbing perfectly and by 5 PM I was up and had warm water. What a kind and considerate person. Thank you

Called city plumbing Saturday afternoon told him I was having problems with my toilet. I only have one bathroom in my house their service said someone would call me back within 10 to 15 minutes, finally someone called me back Monday morning asking me if I still needed them. They were very nice but why would I wait till Monday when I only have one bathroom they need to get their answering service together

The two Carls, a father-son team at City Plumbing are terrific. My old house has so many problems and they've fixed them all.

Knowledgable, trust-worthy, honest, reliable, down home kind of friendly who know their stuff and best of all are reasonably priced. Carl Jr. is working on my broken water heater as I write this and knowing it was an emergency, he made it to my house with only a few hours wait.

I asked him how long they've been in business, and it's nearly 60 years, starting in l958. Amazing! Only the good survive that long. Hats off to you, Carl Sr. and Carl Jr.

Once again City Plumbing comes to the rescue and did not disappoint. I had a plumbing emergency this past Friday. I heard water running from under my bathtub. I went outside to check it out and sure enough water was spraying from a pipe. I called City Plumbing first in a panic to see if they could come out. Mind you this was late Friday afternoon, unfortunately they were completely booked and told me they would not be able to come out until Monday.

I called another plumbing company only to be told they would not be able to get to me for two weeks. Bye bye other plumbing company. I called City Plumbing back to apologize for being so abrupt on my panicked call. Carl could not have been nicer and I could tell he felt bad that he had to say no. He told me there was a slight possibility his guy could come on Saturday to look at my problem. They were doing a job oddly enough on Saturday. They never work on Saturday.

I got a call at 2PM Saturday afternoon from City asking if I still needed them. YES, oh YES, please I said. He was there in 20 minutes, not only did a temporary fix on the leak until Monday but put me on the schedule for Monday to repair about 3 feet of pipe that had corroded.

You just don't get service like this anywhere. It will be a dark day in Whittier when City Plumbing closes its doors for retirement. I hope that doesn't happen for about 40 years. lol.

Thank you guys for always being there, always with a smile and always with a fair price. You have no idea how much you are appreciated.

I have used other plumbers in the Whittier area and they have been good but when I was in a bind and needed some work done right away, it was City Plumbers that came out when I was not home, reviewed the work (exterior), provided a more than reasonable quote, and had the work done by the time I arrived. Based on the actual work done, the final charge was actually lower than the estimate by 15%. Unheard of and much appreciated!!! I want to thank City Plumbers and recommend them for work needed to be done. Say hello to Carl (both of them) and they will take care of you. Craftsmanship at a reasonable price.
