I had a massive 50-years-overdue drain issue in my 75-year-old house and City Plumbing came out within a few hours a gave a quote that was less expensive and faster than three other plumbers we contacted.

The work was done, as promised, finishing a total replacement of all drainage pipes under our house in less than one full day of work. They worked well with the abatement crew that was taking care of the leakage and water damage, and they were very personable and professional throughout the process.

Great service, excellent response time, and very reasonable pricing.

I would highly recommend this company, especially for large scale residential projects.

I've requested a quote to replace my tankless water heater. In my request, I've clearly stated that I will be providing for the new unit AND there's no plumbing required; simply remove old unit and install new one. The estimate they came up with is between $4,800 - $6,000!!! Really?! That's more or less an installation of Central AC Unit (5 Ton). Then the representative that replied to me had the audacity to state that my message was not clear?! Hmm?!!

First experience and last!! Quote aside, this demonstrates their lack of attention to details of the job details. If they can't be attentive to job details, I have doubts about the quality of their job! No thank you!

I backed up my kitchen sink, and I was hoping someone could come out the same day. City Plumbing and Rooter had a very busy day, but fit me in. Kevin showed up, was kind as could be, and unclogged the sink. He was professional, efficient and knew his stuff. I would definitely recommend this company, and especially Kevin.

Lovely person taking call to schedule an appointment. Appointment time was within reason and plumber showed up on time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything fully. He performed a thorough analysis of the issue. Although it turned out the problem was not a plumbing issue, I felt comfortable with the diagnoses and will definitely use this company again.

First I messaged and called about pricing, they confirmed was $40 to run a snake through a line per their special offer. A tech came out and was already being rude to my mother-in-law and wife. You could tell he didn't want to be there, he brought the snake to the kitchen then looked under and said couldn't do it there. Didn't make sense to so asked why and he said would up charge to $275, I said if that was the case I would of used someone else, they advertised $40. He said that was only if it had a clean out next to the sink or clogged line. Too bad that wasn't advertised or mentioned when I asked .... regardless, we went to the lower floor (garage) and I asked him to run the snake through that line, because I really thought the clog was from that line and not the vertical line. I suggested to him to cover the ceilings, garage door, and walls with trash bags or tape and he said it wasn't needed. My concern was it would wet the entire garage with nasty water. But of course was very unprofessional and didn't want to do it. Luckily (kind of) he removed a cap and ran the snake and there was no water, because the clog was above, in the vertical line. But when he removed it and cleaned his snake he not only made a huge mess on the floor but hit the garage door, and it smelled and just made a bad mess. See the photos. My mother-in-law and wife were not happy and asked him to clean it but instead just spread it all around and made it worse. They gave him cleaning chemicals and he just was very helpful and just wanted to leave. Then told me it would be more and said would have to cut into my walls and charge anywhere from $2,000-$3,000. This was when I asked him to leave. We paid him the $40 but it kept bugging us about the mess he made and wouldn't clean up after himself. I messaged the owner on Yelp who started everything and asked for his email to send the photos but now refuses to help. I hate leaving bad reviews but I tried to help make things better but I don't want another Yelp'er to get ripped off or have bad service done to their homes.

Excellent service! These guys showed up on time wear booties to protect our floors made sure none of our property was damaged and cleaned up after they were done. We couldn't be happier with the professional quality of work we received. Technician was very organized and forthcoming with the repair plan. They provided us every courtesy throughout the process. If you have a big or small plumbing job, Definitely would be the company would want to use. This is a company that I will keep and recommend to my friends and family. Five star and then some!
