Had a kitchen sink that was clogged, and Marc was really helpful in running a snake down which confirmed we had an issue with roots growing into the pipes. He went out of his way to check another pipe in the basement which led to clearing out a chunk of rust. Having a serious root issue at hand and not being ready to do such heavy work on the pipes just yet, Marc offered great advice for a temporary solution which was really awesome. Price was really competitive from another quote we got that would have been 2-3X more expensive! Honest and helpful so I'm happy!!!

Paul came to the rescue when my husband accidentally broke the main water line while working on our yard Sunday morning. He came out, even though he was home sick, because he knew no one else could get out to us until early evening. He fixed the pipe and even offered to help us get a huge tree we were planting into the large hole my husband dug out (I think he knew I wouldn't be strong enough help my husband lower it into the hole.) We really appreciate the responsiveness of this company (came out within 90 minutes of our call) and Paul went above and beyond by coming out to us even though he was clearly under the weather. We will definitely call upon City Plumbing and Rooter for our next plumbing need.

I'll start by saying I'd give them 6 stars if I could. You can really tell how good a plumber is in an emergency. I was cooking in the kitchen and suddenly heard water... I went to the guest bedroom and water was pouring out of the light socket. I shut the water off, but there was still a huge downpour. I kind of freaked out. My plumber wasn't picking up-- so I called about a half-dozen plumbers on Yelp. None could help! In desperation, I called City Plumber (even though they were all the way East and I'm in Santa Monica. Jackie (?) was so great. She said, hold tight, let me see if I can find someone. Within 5 minutes she said she had two guys on their way from Burbank, but might take an hour because of traffic. About a half hour later my plumber called and said he was en route. I called Jackie back and she was so sweet. I said ""Please let me pay the guys for their time..."" She wouldn't let me. I said, ""Can I buy the guys a case of beer??"" She said all that was unnecessary. But I will tell you what-- you can tell a lot about a company and their character by such moments. And City Plumbing definitely will get my business next time we have a job.

This company is totally legit and takes their word as their bond. Extremely responsive and professional. They are a family business and they know how to delegate jobs and will come through for you. They gave me a prompt and timely estimate for a leaking faucet replacement cartridge and were able to give a quote based on photos alone. No hard sales talk. Highly recommend !

Called them on a Sunday. Guy named Paul got here in no time!! Gave me a quote I didn't like, but sat there and explained respectfully what the issue was. In comparison to everyone else I called and spoke to, this one gave me peace of mind, negotiated and gave me a great discount, fixed it in no time, and finished it clean!
