As Palisades homeowners we've now used this company two times and both times we were beyond impressed with the level of communication, service and price point that technician Luis provided us.

They are now on speed dial (after going through multiple plumbers who we had issues with).

Luis was very friendly, honest, understandable, communicative and beyond HELPFUL. He is knowledgeable and can easily explain and diagnose our plumbing issues. We also get a very honest and trustworthy vibe from him, which is appreciated.

Brandon Owens of City Plumbing & Rooster is a true professional -- friendly, efficient and respectful. We had a simple job to reconnect a gas line and water line and he arrived during the expected estimate window. He was super helpful and kind, and extremely reasonable to work with.

Since moving to LA a couple years ago, I have used other plumbers from neighbors and via Angie's List, but always felt overcharged and frustrated with lack of punctuality (despite massive time windows). City Plumbing was an exact opposite experience -- even the appointment booking experience via phone was smooth, efficient and prompt. I am glad I found City Plumbing through Yelp -- I definitely concur with their excellent reviews and will use them again!

Oscar Gonzalez did an excellent job clearing our shower and bathtub pipes. I appreciated the great communication leading up to the visit on arrival time and how quickly I was able to get an appointment. Brandon at City Plumbing is the best. Knowledgeable, easy to work with, and works quick. We had him under the wire to replace some angle stops while shutting off water to the building and he stayed calm and collected and finished the job immaculately.

My kitchen sink was clogged up, all I had to do was unhook the garbage disposal and snake the pipe, but I didn't want to deal with the mess or potential downfalls. City plumbing was great. Our technician came by and was very down to earth and friendly. I had a handful of other services quote me $250, and $345 for literally what I could have done myself (with a lot more stress). City offered $175 and snaked out the drain. Bada-bing.

I want to follow up on my review -- recently, the pump in the back stopped working. We had an honest plumber come and take a look. If you didn't read my review above, City Plumbing told me LAST YEAR that the pump was a) broken and b) cost $5,200 to replace. I did nothing and the pump has been working fine until now. My plumber was absolutely amazing and realized that the pump still wasn't broken -- it was just filled with dirt and leaves from all of the rain. He cleaned it out for me and it is good to go. He also said (before fixing) that if he had to replace it, the job + parts would cost $1500.

It makes me so mad to read all these reviews about this company that has clearly overcharged and taken advantage of so many customers b/c they are good talkers, good looking, and have a dog on their van.


The tldr of my previous post: I would recommend getting a 2nd and 3rd quote. They expect me to get other opinions because I was in an emergency plumbing situation. They took advantage of the stress, gave me a dishonest diagnosis, and tried to overcharge me.

My Sink was baked up and I called City Plumbing and Rooter. Their cost was inexpensive compared to most. The Plumber MIKE was a doll. He was friendly and professional. He did his best to clear my drain. My old corroded pipes need a hydro jet. Since the rooter service didn't fix the problem 100% Mike didn't charge me. That's the City Plumbing Guarantee. Mike did snake my drain and was here for about an hour. My drain is running much better for now. I am waiting for a quote on their hydro jet service.

If you're looking for a great plumber, look no further! These guys are the best plumbers in all of Southern California. They will always do what it takes to get the job done. Always honest with their prices and never try to oversell you. The work is very high quality, quick and affordable. If i could give 10 stars I would!

The customer service was great, both from Deborah on the phone and from Mike the plumber. I called to get repairs on a clogged drain and toilet flushing issue and they were able to send Mike to my apartment within 2 hours and fix it very quickly and professionally. The prices seemed very good relative to others I called. Very honest, nice, and efficient- would recommend!
