SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Scam artists! Upon contacting this company to service my boiler, they sent an unlicensed and uninsured subcontractor to my property. As the boiler was being serviced, a pipe bursted and water came out of my radiators and down to the second floor ruining my ceiling. When I reached out to the owner, he stated it was not his responsibility to repair the damages. He gave me a fake name and failed to provide me with his license # and insurance information. After some investigating, I learned that he had done this before under a different LLC. The website says the company is licensed, insured and bonded but he hires unlicensed and uninsured apprentices to do these jobs. Please read BBB reviews.

Came to snake a bathroom sink drain. Spewed dirty water and when asked why he didn't place a bucket under the drain he said, Don't worry about it.""! Eventually he asked for a bucket.. Evidently he was not prepared for the job. When asked politely to close the front door when coming in and out not to let our pets out, he proceeded purposely to leave the door open as wide as it would go. They will never get our business again.

After calling around for a few minutes I came across City Plumbers NJ. After reading their reviews and getting a quote between $125- $175, I decided to give them a shot. Everything was great at the beginning. They sent a guy that showed up approx. 15 minutes later. He was very friendly and informative the entire time, however when it came to paying that's when things turned around a bit. Guy said the job was usually $250, however he would charge me $225. When I asked about the price jump from $175, which I kind of expected because the job wasn't quick, he stated that the job took long and the snake gave him a hard time (Job took approx. 35-40 minutes). I was taken back about bit about the $50 difference, however, I just mentioned that I wish they were more honest about their pricing. Even though they did get the job done and came quickly which were a big plus, not sure if I would use them again. I am kind of big on honesty and being upfront about things.

The issues were resolved within half an hour, no problems have a occurred since, I recommend these guys.

I would give zero stars if that was possible. A pipe broke in my sink making it unusable, and also needed a leaking shower fixed. Called City Plumbers and made an appointment for them to quote on the job(s) for 5:30pm after I got off work. He showed up early , and I got stuck in traffic and was 15 minutes late. He came in and saw everything that I needed fixed. He told me he would text me an estimate later that evening. I asked him for a business card, which he didn't have ( not a good sign ).
By 8:30, I hadn't received the estimate so I called. I was told I would get it shortly. Two more phone calls/texts later... they never sent me an estimate. If they didn't want the job, they chould have said so instead of wasting my time and blowing me off. But...in reality, it was a blessing in disguise, since I found an excellent plumber who did everything I needed the very next day Responsive, fair, clean, honest, and reasonably priced

I called City Plumbing today for a clogged drain. They told me they would be here in 45 min but arrived in 30min. The plumber was very nice and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was wrong and took care of it rite away. He was very clean working and even cleaned up what he didn't have too. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing problems. Very reasonably priced also!
