We have used different companies in Lubbock, and Churchwell is always cheaper when we compare and they have always been on time and efficient when working. They have done major work for us like fixing tree root pipe issues (& they were SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than anyone else we got quotes from on that) and small projects like garbage disposal installation, & regardless of the size of the project we have been very very pleased each time!! Would highly recommend them!

Called Churchwell Plumbing on Monday to come out and look at my plumbing issues. All of my toilets and tubs were backed up and being 6 months pregnant the sanitary issue was a concern. When I called I was advised that there will be a $75.00 call out fee and it may be a septic tank issue that they don't handle. For the sake of at least figuring out whether it was a septic issue or a clog I still wanted them to come out. Literally, I showed the gentlemen my tub and we walked one side of the house and there wasn't a real attempt to find the sewer clean out. Just by looking at my tub and walking the side of my house I was advised that it was a septic tank issue. Due to the holidays I could not get the septic pumping company out until Wednesday to pump my septic tank. Firstly, the septic tank was not full and secondly, after it was pumped my drains were still clogged-meaning this was never a septic tank issue. I attempted to call Churchwell Plumbing back to get it resolved, however, their phone was down. After nearly 3 days with no plumbing I went ahead and reached out to another company. Mr. Wilson's Plumbing came out same day and there was a completely different vibe. They went above and beyond to make sure my baby and I were taken care of it. They came out with a motive to fix the issue, unlike the response I got from Churchwell. Needless to say, my plumbing could have been fixed, but Churchwell took the $75.00 and ran with it.

We had to call a plumbing service because our water pipe busted Sunday evening, and I was so afraid that someone would overcharge us because it happened outside of business hours. However, Churchwell Plumbing's on call person, Josh, came out and assessed the problem then we were charged a reasonable rate! Josh was very honest, respectful, and knowledgeable. I would totally recommend Churchwell Plumbing as I will definitely call them again if needed!

Outstanding service and very courteous. Steve came out to snake a slow drain for me. He was very cordial & efficient. Very pleased with their service, he was on time, got the job done in a efficient time & stuck around & double checked that the drain was cleared out & he cleaned up after himself. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Great company & great employee!

Gary the owner, his son Blaine, Peter and Rocky were all just awesome. We bought a house and the minute we used the facilities they backed up. Our sewer line needed to be replaced. I was beside myself and called Gary on a Saturday and he came right out. I never felt I was being taken advantage for the desperate situation I felt I was in. They really worked with me with all my concerns and made me feel at ease that it will all get fixed. It was a big job but they never left me in a huge inconvenience. They were so professional at every level even Rachel who answers the phone was a delight to deal with.

We were able to replace the sewage line with the trenchless solution that did not tear up the inside of my house.

Thank you so much to Churchwell you made the best out of a pretty awful situation!

I've lived in Lubbock for 20 years and have either experienced or heard about many plumbing companies. Not certain who to use I went to Yelp! I read the reviews on several companies and was pleased with what I read about Churchwell. I got two different estimates and both companies were well represented by their company employees. Ultimately, I chose Churchwell both for the $2000 savings but also because they represent a home grown family company, which I like. The product and warranty were essentially the same though the turn around a few days different. There was no bother or disruption of life. They did the trenchless method for pipe replacement and epoxy liner for under slab repair.
Very courteous and professional.
Of course I can't report for future but they have warrantied for 5 years maintenance with 50 year life expectancy. They have been in business for almost 30 years.
I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to recommend Churchwell Plumbing!

ain plumbing lines had cracked and in desperate need of repair. These were original to the house. We were devastated to learn this after having just spent so much money to purchase this house. The estimates came in from three companies and Churchwell's was by far the best! We felt at ease the way they explained things, the constant communication, how they kept the job sites clean and just plain good to their word. I have referred them to my neighbors on Nextdoor and my in laws are now looking at using them for their repairs. I can't say enough good things about them! THE BEST!"
