Christy have always given us prompt, quality service for 20+ year, professionally & @ our residence. All plumbers are costly but you can count on their honesty & work ethic.

I have used Christy for years and been satisfied, but I won't have them again. I was charged for 3 hours of labor at $98 an hour to change 2 bathroom faucet cartridges and to trouble shoot a garbage disposal. Not repair, just check. The technician was a a talker, not a worker.

Not pleased, at all, with Christy. We had them out in October to deal with a backed up basement drain. Charged over $200 for materials and labor. 2 weeks later we had the same issue. When calling to discuss, we were told that the owner of the company would call us back in 1-2 days. Another week went by....no call from owner. Finally got them to come back out today, and it cost ANOTHER $222. This was (supposedly) with the cost of the eel being waived. Different plumber out today....his response, ""well maybe the first guy wasn't as thorough"".
So, overall experience? First plumber may not have been thorough enough, according to the second plumber. ""Owner will call you back today or tomorrow to discuss"" translates to no phone call, at all, until I call again the next week. And, of course, no guarantee on clearing drains. So, if the first guy's lack of thoroughness resulted in the job not being done right, that's unfortunate for the customer. Makes me wonder if TODAY'S plumber was thorough enough, or if we'll have a problem again in 2 weeks.
The best part? Their labor guarantee on the receipt reads, ""The labor charge as recorded here relative to the equipment serviced as noted, is guaranteed for a period of 30 days"".
VERY disappointed, and will be sharing with friends and family.

We had used Christy Plumbing for many years but on the last project that they did for us they provided poor service at a high price and did not complete the repair. I had to go to Home Depot rent a snake and complete the repair myself. They also took the part we needed to reconnect the toilet and refused to return it. We had to buy parts that they took. We will never use them again. Find someone else!

We have been using Christy for our plumbing needs for over a decade. We have always found them to be prompt, fair, thorough and their prices are reasonable. Their workers are willing to answer questions so you understand what they are doing and how to keep things in proper working order.

If you like your house, don't call Christy's. Had a clogged drain in the second floor bathroom, called Christy's to fix. They came the next day, and were there about 1/2 hour, during which time, my husband had to reset the breaker, because oddly enough, the lights went out during the snaking of my pipe, actually now, we know, he put his equipment through my pipe and was snaking my wall. Not sure about damage to the electric, quite sure about the damage to my living room, since the drain leaked into it. Ceiling bubbled, walls are leaking, took 4 days to show, walls have bubbles of water, had to drill two holes to let water out of ceiling. Christy's now states even if they went through my pipe, it would be my problem because that would mean my pipe is old. Not so fast, why would I ever call a plumber, if when they damaged something, it would still be my fault? Wouldn't I just give it a try myself? Ridiculous! NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE!

Don't bother calling these people they act like they are in business but when it comes for them to relay a message NO ONE will call you back. I have called 3 times now for a plumber and spoke with one plumber that was gonna relay the message for an estimate and never did then spoke with a woman in the office and no response and finally there answering service. So they loose out on a pretty big job, You Snooze You Loose. Very unprofessional business practice

We had a stoppage in our sewer line on a weekend that completely blocked wastewater from leaving our house... it also backed up into our basement. We needed it fixed ASAP, so we called Christy and Steve Poremski came out and spent a good part of the day fixing it. He was fantastic; really friendly, explained everything that was going on, and did great work. I can't imagine having gone with anyone else.
