Christian Sheet Metal was established in 1925 by Uban Christians. The early focus of the company was on specialized manufacturing and residential heating solutions. Following World War II, the company transitioned into the commercial and industrial sectors. During this period, James Christians, the founder's son, assumed control of the business.
Einer Dahl bought the company in 1972 and changed its name to Christians Corporation. Mr. Dahl already owned a significant HVAC business in Van Meter, Iowa, and aimed to grow into Northwest Iowa.
