They were able to come soon after our call and fix an ongoing problem. Everyone was courteous and neat. I really appreciated that they came back the next morning to do the inside work, in their ""clean"" clothes. Nice work!

The plumbing problem was fixed promptly and professionally. There was an issue with billing (by a new employee) but it was fixed promptly and to my satisfaction. Have used Chris Wilson once before and was pleased. Ever have another problem I am calling Chris Wilson.

Excellent service. They were available to inspect my leaking water heater and give me availability and pricing for several replacement options promptly. My leaking unit was replaced with a new unit, to comply with building codes. When I called because the new unit was under performing, they sent someone to check and resolve the issue that same day.

They are always on time and super helpful. We had them replace our ducting and bibs in the laundry. They keep to their estimates and work efficiently. Looking forward to the next project

I recently had a plumbing problem and since I am new to the Santa Cruz area, I simply went and looked Chris Wilson up in the directory. I put in my call and within a very short time, I got a response, told him my problem, and made an appointment. The plumber who came to the door, was neatly dressed, clean, wore a mask and showed me his identification. He worked diligently and efficiently and equally important, cleaned up after himself and left the bathroom clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Chris Wilson and his assistants. My response to your response is as below:
1. I requested for your breakdown of work very next day, not a month
later. I made several attempts, but in my case your customer service was
not any where near what are you clamming of it.
2. We are a flat repair shop as well, But parts and Flat labor is always broken
down on invoice as per California's regulation. But to this date, three
months later no one has provided me of that information.
3. I paid your invoice with all charges in full voluntarily even after no
response was received from your company.
4. And Yes, it was over charged by $ 400.00 plus.

In 2017 this company installed our water heater. It was costly, about $1800 yet we were pleased since it was an emergency and it was hard to find a plumber on short notice.
The next year they flushed out the water heater no issues. We have the receipt. On Monday I called and set up an appointment to have the water heater flushed out again for regular maintenance. The worker sent today to flush the system said I needed to install an additional valve so they could shut off the circulation pump before they could drain it at additional cost. I wondered why, all of a sudden, I need a new valve when this company installed and replaced pipes the first time and then drained the water heater the following year with no issue. I was quite upset. But the company decided to install the needed valve at no cost to us since they did the original installation.

Nov 16th: 1st Technician
Danny showed up, looked at heater. Went back to shop found out Trane no longer makes model we have but found one refurbished that would fix the problem for $1600.00. I said ""fix the heater completely for 1600.00?"" Danny replied ""yes"". A couple days later, Danny arrived to install, unfortunately it did not work. We needed more parts, Danny called from the shop and said it will be a couple hundred dollars more. I said ""Danny you told me 1600.00 would fix the problem""! I never saw/spoke to Danny again.
**Danny also told me there was a warranty for the part and was looking through pamphlet because I asked him what the warranty includes. He continued scrolling through the pamphlet and said he could not find it at the moment but will take it back and ask his boss. Come to find out by Allison later that there was in fact no warranty, that Danny was looking through a User Guide!!
Nov 20th
Had a scheduled appointment with Chris Wilson to look at heater (it was really cold, so was pleased the boss was coming). After two calls from Allison (office staff) saying Chris was running late I received a 3rd call at 5:34 PM saying that Chris was unable to make it but would like to stop by first thing Saturday (21st) morning to take a look at the heater personally.
Nov 21st
Saturday morning, Chris Wilson never came, nor did I get a call from the office advising me that another technician would show up! I received a phone call that morning at 9:44am from Lou simply saying, ""Chris couldn't make it, it's my day off and they called me in"".
Lou was very professional and knowledgeable and advised me that I needed 2 more parts. A thermostat and pressure switch group. Lou could not provide an estimate of cost of the parts or when I could get the parts installed (it was Saturday and his day off, totally understood). Lou did thankfully get the heat partially working. He promised to call me with both answers to those questions on Monday morning. I did not hear from Lou Monday or Tuesday and Wednesday I called the office.
Nov 25th
I contacted the office and spoke with Christopher. I told him about my frustration with getting no return calls or follow up. I explained the situation and he graciously assured me that either he or Lou will contact me before the end of the day. He apologized and again said I would be hearing from one of them that day. There was no phone call...
Nov 27th
Not feeling like a valued customer because of lack of communication and follow through, I called the office yet again and spoke to Allison. I explained the situation and she said she would get in contact with Lou immediately. Lou called me at 8:34 AM to tell me that the parts are not yet in and will contact me when they arrive. He also told me to contact him if there were any further questions.

Lou arrived with the parts and quickly got the heater working properly!!
My experience with Chris Wilson:
Total cost was $2040.00, not $1600.00 as was previously told.
Was told there was a warranty, there was none.
The lack of Communication and follow through was the most frustrating of this entire situation! It was a very disappointing experience.

We are thrilled with the job that Danny did for us. The team was responsive and he arrived quickly, whereas other HVAC companies either did not return calls or were unavailable for weeks. Our furnace had problems during a cold snap and we had been very cold for a day. Danny quickly determined the cause of the problem, gave us a very reasonable estimate, had all the parts he needed in his truck, worked quickly and efficiently, masked up and maintained a 6ft distance and was very professional and pleasant. Nice to know we have an excellent HVAC team to rely on. Danny was great!
