Recommended Customer Reviews

I am very satisfied with Chris's service.
I have two under sink units to install: a RO filtration system and an instant water heater.
What makes these two units complex are because of the following requirements:
1) Have to drill a hole on my granite countertop for the drinking water faucet
2) Connect the RO and instant water heater together and then to the hot&cold drinking water faucet
Chris get the hole drilling clean and professionally with the right tool, given this is a after work drilling and the risk of cracking the countertop, he did the job very carefully, he didn't even cause any mess after the hole is drilled. Some of the contractors either refuse to drill hole or not familiar with doing the stone job.
And before the installation, Chris gave a very great suggestion to re-arrange the airgap and the drinking faucet and I am very glad that I can make a better use of the area.
During the installation, he apparently knew what is doing and very good at it, connecting the filtration and water heater in no time and did a great job. He even re-placed and re-connect my garbage disposal to better use the space under the sink and improved the clogging of my diswasher drain pipe which made me even happier with this extra improvements.
After the installation, we did the test, no leaking and then he waited patiently for about an hour for the filtration and heater to finish the initial charge before he took off and make sure everything works perfectly.
Chris' price is very reasonable, very easy to work with, won't charge you extra for small little things he can do along the process, and respect customer's opinion while giving his professional suggestion.
Strongly recommend.

Quality job and cleanliness and experience and know about pluming.plumbing.. would like to call him again.?

Kept increasing price and then just ghosted me. Also, don't THINK HE IS LICENSED. WHEN I ASKED HIM TO SHARE HIS LICENSE DETAILS, HE SAID, "" I NEED TO FIND THAT PAPERWORK""
I hired Chris to reroute a gas line due to a leak in the old line. He said he could do it. I asked him if he was licensed, insured and bonded and he said yes to all of that. Then on the day of he said oh the original route won't work due to the size of the pipe, we need to run it differently and it will cost 250% more. I said fine I understand it 8s more work, let's proceed. Then later he calls me and says oh the materials are more than what I thought is it now going to 300% more than the original estimate.
At this point, I was without gas, for 3 days, so I said yes, and we agreed on 275% increase over original price. He said he would need a helper to do this job but will be done. At the end of day he had done nothing, so I texted him and he said he couldn't get the tools to work on the job, but tomorrow he would have a helper and should be done next day. So I reminded him to send me his license. Since then he Just stopped answering calls or text. I had to reach out to another contractor with license to do the job.
Please be careful using his services.

My mother's water heater went out and I have callled numerous places. At time of need for immediate repair or replacement I called numerous places and the availability and pricing is ridiculous. Then I called chris plumbing, I told him what I need he was able to give me a fair price and also his available to do it the same day. He's workmanship is to the highest standards, his communication is clear, polite in explaining what he was doing and great patient. I highly recommend chris for any of your plumbing needs.

Chris is HONEST and SUPER LEGIT. He fixed a small leak in my shower valve. Another company quoted me $1200.00 to take my water heater out and put it back so they could find the leak. Chris fixed the leak by simply removing the shower assembly. I can't tell you how relieved I was. I'm so glad I called him. He's a lifesaver.

Quick summary:
-He was honest and knowledgeable.
-He showed me everything every step of the way.
-He was logical in his process and wasn't trying to upsell
-He allowed me to take photos for the landlord.
-He was clean, organized and professional.
-And at the end of it all, he did a great job.

Full Story:
For background condo was built in 2016.
Came home to dirty water was pouring out of the light fixture in the dining room, below the laundry room, on to the cream colored carpet. When I ran upstairs I found the laundry room had flooded and the stan pipe was over flowing. Im not a plumber but it was logical to guess that the pipe was clogged. So took a video and pics. Ugh!!!!
After emergency actions of soaking up flood and catching water with a bucket, I informed my land lord. They booked a plumber for the next morning (NOT Chris' Plumbing). Meantime, water stains are appearing on the ceiling and walls in the dining room.
Next morning, the plumber, without any tools or checking pipe or without even watching my video of the pipe overflowing immediately diagnosed to saying the pipe was cracked and when asked about maybe being a clog he said he can't do that cuz it might damage the crack more. Instead he grabs a moisture meter and starts poking all the dry all on the second floor to show how wet the walls and ceiling are. He then calls his ""restoration team"" to come by, and tells me and my land lord that they will need to see the damage and open the walls to find the crack in the pipe. The restoration team comes pokes pronged moisture meter into the walls and ceilings. To tell me that they will need to replace the entire dining room ceiling but still can't tell me what's wrong with the pipe as that's not their job. **it's at this point I realized I'm being taken for a fool**
I call my land lord immediately and tell her I do not trust these guys because 3 people have come and no one has actually addressed the issue and they are already talking about replacing the ceiling after poking over 100 holes in the dry wall. It was as if i went to the doctors to say i had a heart attack and they decided to try to give me a face lift. Like WTF. So I ask if I can help by finding someone else and they say yes.
I found Chris' Plumbing on Yelp and called him. He was quick to respond and make an appointment just 2 hours later. I didn't explain that I just had 3 guys over trying to screw me over. Chris watched the video I took of the over flow and pre-diagnosed it as a clog, I asked about a crack and he said no based on the video it looks like a clog. He walked thru the process:
1. He's gonna snake, provides estimated price.
2. If that doesn't work, he's going to use camera to see, provides price for camera usage. From there he will then have to rediagnose based on findings.
Ok... yea. This sounds hella logical and right to the point. His prices were fair and very clear.
So he snaked, and it didn't work. So he recommended the camera. So he left and came back with the camera to scope the pipe. It was full of water and completely blocked he found where it the pipe the clog was. By then, it was already late evening, so he said he would start work in the morning. He had a theory about what was clogging the pipe, being a newer house he thought the location of the clog was indicative of a test plug the builder would have used to test the pipes initial installation.
He provided plan- cut open wall in the small area that scope indicated. Drain pipe. And see what's clogging.
Next morning. Chris came, scoped again, marked the spot. Set up towels and drop cloth to make sure everything was clean. Cut the wall, clean straight lines. Drained the pipe without making a wet mess. And found the clog. And wouldn't you know it... he was right. A small plastic test plug was blocking the whole pipe. He fixed the pipe, ran leak tests, cleaned the area and closed the wall back up with the original dry wall. He left me a can of the knock down because the drywall mud had to dry first before we can use it. He left me the tools and showed me how to complete the rest of the work. He walked thru what to look for if there are any other leaks and how to prevent clogs in the future with just standard maintenence.
I tell the whole story because my two experiences were like night and day.
In contrast to the first company, talking with Chris didn't make me feel like I was about to get hustled or like i was being talked down to. -He was honest and knowledgeable.
-He showed me everything every step of the way.
-He was logical in his process and wasn't trying to upsell.
-he provided education on how to maintain
-He allowed me to take photos for the landlord.
-He was clean, organized and professional.
-And at the end of it all, he did a great job.
If you're looking for a plumber, Chris is the guy.
Thanks Chris!

Chris was on time and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me. he was very professional and resolved the plumbing problem I had.

We had hot water piping problem this morning that the valve couldn't be fully turned off. After reviewed different plumbers from yelps that I decide yo make a call with Chris. Surprisingly he was able to come to our house within 2 hours time frame to check out the piping issue. After he found out what the problem was that he was able to get it fixed straight away, he was very patient to answer all my questions and explain what the problem was. We are very happy with Chris final work and very trust worthy person for his expertise knowledge and experience. I will definitely come back to ask Chris helping us with any plumbing problems in the future.

In front of my house, there a underground water leak. Christ was amazing through out the service. He explained to me about the plans of fixing it. Great service!!!!

Twice now, I have had Chris come over to do some plumbing work for me. He performed a masterful job replacing as well as upgrading my main shutoff valve in front of my home. Today he came over and replaced my shutoff valves and faucets for my kitchen as well as my laundry room. We suffered from poor (low) water pressure in both areas and after his detailed work, I'm pleased to say that water pressure is back to normal.
Chris is very professional, prompt, and detailed not only in his work but also his explanation of what he thinks the issue is.
I look forward to having him do more work for me in the very near future!
