When water started gurgling up our pipes in our new house, we called a regular plumber first. But he said the issue was our septic system. So we called Chris, who knows both -- so glad we did! As new homeowners, there was a lot we didn't know. He suggested we could dig out the access point ourselves, which a different firm had quoted $160/hr to do. Chris also took time to explain our system to us and show us what we needed to do if it happened again, and how we could make small upgrades ourselves that would help out a lot -- and save future $$.

Chris' bill was much less than we expected. He may not have made a lot on the call, but he did make a customer for life! I would trust Chris's integrity and expertise with any plumbing and septic issue!

Chris and his crew came out and dug me a new drain field and connected tank in a little over half a day. What an outstanding company. I highly recommend them. They leveled yard and even replanted some ferns. Plus they're really nice guys. Thanks for everything. Crystol Lee.

I do not recommend this business. I've been waiting for them to finish a plumbing job since September 10 and I am still waiting now TWO MONTHS LATER in November. They came quickly to see the job and needed to order a new recirculating pump kit. I waited over 2 weeks but it turned out they ordered the wrong one, then they told me the right one was on its way and it would be here in 2 more weeks.  As the new date approached, I tried to schedule the service call and I asked for status from their office manager, Alyssa, but did not hear back. When she finally replied on October 20, the estimated arrival date of the part, she instead demanded payment upfront. This was unusual in my experience and I could not even get a straight answer about the status of the part shipment from her. That's because it had never even been ordered!  Their plumber was on vacation and unreachable so they didn't know anything about it. So, 6 weeks later, frustrated, I asked to speak with the owner because I'm without hot water circulation for long periods of time waiting while they weren't even up front with me. It turns out the incompetent office manager, Alyssa, is the owner's daughter and she was somehow offended by that so she told me there were plenty of other plumbers and I could go find one (great attitude).

So, part 2, that day, I called to speak with the owner of the company, Chris, who said it was the first he had heard of this and committed to look into it once he had time, which was never.  One week later, he finally said it was taken care of and he would come install it himself the following Monday, good ownership!  Except he didn't show up the following week Monday or Tuesday and I had to call him several times again. He too lied about ordering the part because his brother finally came out to do the job, also didn't know anything about it, and now said the part was in stock and he needed to get it and would come back tomorrow because he needed to ask advice from another plumber. He had not seen this configuration before and was confused (although other plumbers validated it).  He did not come back the rest of that week, and he wouldn't answer his phone either so I made one last call to find that they thought a third plumber, Anthony, the initial plumber who disappeared on vacation, was supposed to call me.  At this point it was a joke,  they just strung me along and delegated and missed every appointment and call.  I could have gotten another plumber so long ago. This has truly been a frustrating and unbelievable but 100% true experience from an incompetent and amateur plumbing service.  It's definitely for the best as I'm concerned about the warranty of their work.

It turns out I'm not the only one suffering.  it looks like their prior license was suspended and they have a new on, #CHRISPI852RA.  Contrary to Alyssa saying they have so many good reviews, their last yelp page was closed after 4 1-star reviews: https://www.yelp.com/biz/chris-plumbing-auburn

In addition to BBB, Yelp, Google, and Thumbtack which is where I found them, I'm filing a CPA complaint with the state AG, Washington LNI, and considering small claims for damages. These guys are just that bad. They are friendly, but I have had the worst long and negative experience unfortunately.
