I hired Chris because my dishwasher stopped working after my kids put mud down the sink and in the dishwasher. He had great communication when calling to set up the appointment and on the day of our appointment. He showed up wearing a mask, which I appreciated, and was friendly and engaging with me and my kids. He took a look at our sink and dishwasher and quickly determined that the problem was actually with the dishwasher itself and not with the plumbing. I appreciated the honesty because he could have easily taken a few hours to take my plumbing apart, charge me for the time, and then told me I needed to call an appliance repair service. Chris responded immediately to my phone call requesting service for installing a new sink, faucet, and waste disposal. He set up an appointment the following afternoon to inspect the job and give me a free estimate for his services. Chris advised that the waste disposal was failing and was causing a leak. Also, that the Kohler sink was in good shape and could be left in place. He recommended that the waste disposal and water filtration system should be swapped in their position. He also recommended getting a smaller sized disposal than the one I had purchased, as it wouldn't fit properly next to the water filtration. Chris came out the next day and completed the installation. His cost estimate was accurate and fair. Chris showed up on time and completed the job within a very reasonable timeframe. Chris was respectful of the workspace and cleaned up the trash afterwards. I would definitely call on Chris Doherty again for any future plumbing needs!
