Chosen rooter has horrible customer service. We used them because our home warranty company selected them. They were very slow to submit reports, complete work and sent additional bills after giving initial quotes. I do not recommend this company.

Thanks for saving the day! Chosen Rooter & Plumbing came out late at night to investigate water leaking through our garage ceiling. They returned early the next morning to fix an overflowing sewage line that had caused the leak. They were professional, knowledgeable, and quick to solve our problems. I would definitely call them again in the event of a future emergency!

Got to say, plumbing fixes are pretty hit or miss in San Francisco. Never know what kind of prices you'll be hit with... But! This company was great all the way through. Big shout out to Damian, who was the tech that did my estimate and then the service a week later.

Overall quality of service was excellent, he installed two brand new faucets (I provided) and a connector for a steam shower unit. Was supposed to be a short job, but my old faucet handles were seized up and Damian was extremely communicative and adaptive throughout. He ensured the job was done without damaging the marble sinks by using a saw to cut through the old handles.

I will be working with Damian and Chosen Rooter and Plumbing for all future jobs in SF.

Only improvement I have would be for the front end. I was under the impression the estimate was free but almost got knicked for $400 weekend diagnostic (which I wouldn't have done if it was communicated). Also, the front-end scheduled the tech for service between 8-10 am and did not arrive until 10:30 am. Again, communication from the front-end would've helped a lot in understanding their techs travel time and giving me a later window.

Five stars to Damian, will always give 5 stars for a quality job done, thanks!

I contacted this company to replace a water heater and they text back that they do not provide cost estimate over the phone and will show up onsite to provide a no-cost estimate. They showed up an hour before the arrival time with the water heater while another company I called was providing their estimate. Chosen then tried to get me to pay for their time even though they were early and I was just about to cancel their appointment after I received the first cost estimate. Chosen backed down on charging me once I sent them a screen shot of the original text message. Then suspiciously, a city inspector showed up the next day saying they received an anonymous tip that I had replaced my water heater without a permit. None of my neighbors call on each other so I would recommend staying away from this company.
