Camilo arrived promptly at the expected time. He was very clear and informative on explaining the issue to me, as well as outlining different options. After we agreed on a solution, he went to a nearby Lowes to get the parts and fixed it in a very timely manner within the same day.

We had a clogged kitchen sink and a crack in our garbage disposal so our sink was out of commission. We went through our home warranty insurance and they referred us to Chosen Rooter & Plumbing. The company called us the next day and told us that they aren't able to come out immediately, in fact, they scheduled me four days out. I was frustrated but agreed to their next available appointment scheduled for Monday from 1-4pm. The day of the appointment, I patiently waited and waited and waited. No one showed up so around 4:40 I called to check on the status, I spoke with a lady with a heavy accent. She explained that the plumber was running late and that they'll be there soon. It would've been nice to receive a call letting us know they were running late but this is just one example of their poor customer service.
The plumber finally came around 5:30, assessed the situation and told us he couldn't do anything since the job required the home warranty insurance approval. He said their dispatcher couldn't get a hold of anyone to obtain approval to clear the clogged, so they'll have to call tomorrow and come back. I was livid as hell! If they showed up on time, maybe we wouldn't have ran into this issue. I immediately called Chosen Rooter and the same lady with the heavy accent answered again, but now with screaming kids in the background. I expressed my frustration and told her we wouldn't have this issue had they been on time. Oh she let me have it. She got defensive and started yelling at me, as if this was my fault! I told her I didn't appreciate her yelling at me and her response was extremely unprofessional. She said her men were already working overtime and that she was yelling because I was yelling at her. I explained to her that I'm obviously upset and frustrated, and did not want to go another day without a working sink. She clearly didn't care and said there is nothing she can do. She said they'll try to call the home warranty tomorrow because she couldn't get a hold of anyone. At this point it's close to 6:30, the plumber is still at my house trying to replace the garbage disposal.
However, at the last ditch attempt to get this issue resolve that night, my husband told me to call the home warranty insurance myself to see if I can speak with someone while we have the plumber still at the house. Lo and behold I was able to get a representative on the phone pretty quickly. I explained the situation and they asked to speak with Chosen plumbing dispatcher so I tried calling and coincidentally no one picked up. I tried calling again with no success. At this point we knew they never attempted to call our home insurance company to get approval.
Sadly, we had no choice but to wait until tomorrow. The next day, I get a call from the same lady so I asked her name, she knew why I wanted her name so she told me her name was Sarah. She then told that my home warranty wouldn't approve the work and I'll have to pay out of pocket. I would've have gladly paid it the night before and get our sink fixed if they actually attempted to call my home warranty insurance. In any case, I agreed to pay. I forgot to ask about payment method so I called the company again and again the same lady answered so I asked if I was speaking with Sarah, she seemed confused and said who? Hmm, this person purposely told me a different name, wow. My sink was finally fixed after a nightmare experience with this company. I thought I was done with them but I realized I needed a receipt so I called a few days later and spoke with Vlada aka Sarah, which now I realize is the same rude person I spoke with all thus time. She said she'll email the receipt to me shortly which I never received. I called again a few days later and spoke with Vlada again, and told her I never received the receipt. She stated she'll email me the receipt. It's been a week and I still haven't received it. Sadly this is the owner and the face of the company. When you run a business you should expect to deal with angry customers and how you handle these difficult situations will set you apart from other companies. Needless to say Vlada failed on many levels. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if I get an unapologetic response from the owners defending their behavior and actions. We will NEVER use this company again.

I did not actually use the services of Chosen Rooter; however, as I was beginning the moving process with bulky items up a 3 floor walk up, Robert ran over to come help. It was out of complete kindness that he pulled over to help and absolutely made my day. No doubt Robert is a great person/plumber/employee! Thank you Robert!!

Can a plumbing company be this bad? I am simply in shock! After 7 visits to repair water leaking of the shower, now they managed to make the water not going up to shower at all? I am still in disbelief.
