This company is the best! I use them for mowing, landscaping, fertilization & pest extermination. I love having one place that can take care of so many needs. We just picked up Chorbie after reviewing a number of other services that could handle all of our yard and flower bed needs. We're pretty excited so far for how things are working out and appreciate the service we have received at a competitive price. Michael Bridges did our weed and fertilization service today and I appreciate the detail at which we are updated on the services as they are provided. This is not a company that just shows up whenever and leaves when they think they are done leaving a bill or waiting for the check. You get notice the day before they show up and an email after indicating all the work done. Looking forward to seeing how the whole yard turns out this year with Chorbie.

It used to be Weed Xtinguishers during its golden years, when professionalism, courtesy, and customer-focus was their mission objective and uniqueness. As a customer of fertilization and weed control, quality and responsiveness were evident, even though not perfect.
But then they decided to found Chorbie, started focusing more on expansion, profit maximization, and all the core strengths that made Weed Xtinguishers great started fading out week after week. It all started with the price increase, which was nominal but still the highest in the type of fertilization service in the area. Then the quality of results began declining. Now they are at a point, where they barely find techs to respond to your re-service requests, in time.

They have forgotten to "underpromise but over-deliver." Customer satisfaction and quality is a secondary goal if the time and resource are available, but the main is to bring in new customer, more revenue.

To be honest, I have never been completely satisfied with the fertilization and weed control as a service, but was more with them, about their "online payment setup, advance email/text alert" system. My neighbors all have better-looking yards with the same type of service with different vendors. I just don't like putting money under mats and surprise visits. So, that had been the only reason I have stayed with them for so many years. But results of the spray/service have been sub-par.

So, I don't recommend it, if you are really looking for results. But if you want something that takes online payments and sends you alerts, look no further, you have reached the right business.

I left a voicemail with complaint and within minutes David followed up with apology and personally showed up at the house to ensure the service exceeds our expectations.

Jeremy here replied in public, as you can see, he owned the responsibility and vowed to make it right. This speaks of this firm's integrity and delivering white-glove customer service. Things may happen every now and then as its a service industry but customer-focused businesses take the ownership, accept the responsibility, and then make it right. So full and all stars to Chorbie's excellent customer service. I am a HUGE FAN again. I have referred them in my neighborhood a lot.

We've used several services from Chorbie since we bought our home, including their weekly lawn mowing, bush trimming, fertilizer, bug and mosquito treatment, sod installation and Christmas light hanging, and all of their services are top-notch and done to perfection. But over the last 3 months, they have exceeded what I would expect from any service provider, as they have shown me incredible kindness and generosity. My family suffered a major tragedy 3 months ago which, among many things, caused a financial hardship on me. I called Chorbie to explain the situation and ask that all of my lawn services be removed except for my weekly mowing. After losing money from all of the extra services that I had removed from our account, Chorbie discounted my weekly lawn service AND sent me a condolence card, signed by the Chorbie staff. Last week, I thought that I had an emergency leak with my sprinkler system. Since my house was about to go under contract, I called Chorbie in a panic and their irrigator literally left a job to rush to my house. It turned out to not be a leak at all and just a valve that was not turned on all the way. And of course, they did not charge me for that emergency visit, because THAT, my friends, is the Chorbie way. When you become a Chorbie customer, you become family. I can't thank them enough so I will continue to refer everyone I know to them :)

After I canceled the mowing service, I asked for a quote for Christmas light installation as I did let them know (when they asked why I was canceling) that I liked the service last year and the lights are already customized for my roof line. I never got a reply so 20 days later I followed up asking what the status was. I was told that due to my review they had "understandably assumed" I wouldn't be interested in doing further business with them. If I hadn't been interested, I wouldn't have asked for a quote. Due to such passive aggressive behavior toward a customer giving an honest review, I guess I'll need to find a new Christmas light installer. They apparently don't want to have to deal with me anymore.

Rarely do you come across a company these days that communicate well & truly cares about your concerns.

Before each visit, I get a phone call & email notification. After each visit, I get a follow up email report.

Communicating with them through email was easy. They reply the same day. I can have my concerns answered immediately.

They came out quite soon to fix additional issues I had with my lawn at no extra charge since I signed up a yearly program with them. Their employee is very professional, goes above & beyond. I'm very satisfied with their customer service. Highly recommend !
