The guy running this business is Meletios Chios and he is nothing more than a scam artist and a crook. He is not licensed, though indicates this on his invoices. He makes tons of promises, all which he does not honor. When caught in a lie, which was often, he tries his best to make you look like the bad one. Quick to take money and great at making excuses for not showing up, always blaming others. He was supposed to take care of paperwork for me with the building department and assured me he was down there several times getting things done. Upon my own investigation into this I came to find out that he was never down there as nothing had been filed. The work that he assured us he would do was not done as indicated and his fee for the services was astronomical. Luckily I only paid him half because I became suspicious early on. However, it will be a fight to get it back. I have to get a new guy in here to fix his mess. And he was hired to fix the mess from a contractor I hired after hurricane sandy. What a disaster!!!! How are guys like this still in business?!?!?
If I could give him ZERO stars I would.

Had the same experience as other reviewer, pretty much word for word, took cash payment up front, hardly ever showed up, when they did they would have to leave for an emergency call, kept us hanging, lots of anxiety, always an excuse. Needless to say work still not completed. How do they stay in business? Don't know how these people get away with it. Our fault we should have seen it coming. Very expensive lesson learned. Can anyone be trusted anymore? Ashamed to say been conned a few times but this was the greatest scam, really pulled the wool over!!!!

they promised to finish the bathroom in 5 days claimed we got such a great deal. it's been over a month and they just ignore phone calls, never show up, pretty much ran off with our money. when they do call they give tons of excuses and still never show up. we have now hired someone else after almost 2 months now and got tired of waiting for our bathroom to be done. plus the shower head they put in was put in wrong and we had to fix it ourselves. NEVER AGAIN!
