Chicks plumbing is awesome! They have always been prompt in their service when we have needed to call them. Bret is A great plumber and very professional. We just had a Halo 5 water purification and conditioning system put in recently and they did a great job!

Here is a shout-out for Chick's Plumbing. The shower in our guest bathroom was broken. My ""handy-man"" husband set out to do this until he discovered that it was more involved than he wanted to get into. So I contacted Chick's Plumbing and sent over a few pictures to get an idea of what this would entail. We were given a bid and arranged for a plumber to show up. Bret came to our rescue. He quickly accessed the problem and realized that he could save us money by replacing only the parts and not destroying the tile around it. This would entail having a tile guy come in to do only a few tiles. Such a small job that it would take a while to get anyone interested to repair it. Bret finished the job pretty quickly, saved us $$ and left the area all tidy. I would highly recommend Chick's Plumbing. Ask for Bret!

We had called them out too with our tankless heater. They charged us, but had no idea what the problem was. They said we'd have to wait for Nortiz to read the code. That the repair could cost ups o $4300. Called another repair, So. Cal and they immediately diagnosed it over the phone, bought the part and it only cost $530. I wouldn't use Chicks if you have a tankless system. They aren't very knowledgable and they'll charge you to tell you they don't know how to fix it. Very frustrating.

Go elsewhere! There are many reputable and competent plumbers, but Chick's is not among them. I called Chick's because my normal plumber was not working over the Thanksgiving holiday. Chick's confirmed that they service Noritz tankless water heaters. The technician arrived, but couldn't diagnose the error code without consulting with Noritz (closed over the Thanksgiving weekend) and then proceeded to try to sell me a new unit for $4,300!!. I googled the error code and found the solution, which he ignored. Said it would be 3 more days to consult with Noritz and then a couple more to get parts. That's a week of cold showers!
I waited for my plumber to return. He was familiar with the error code and had the part in stock. Was out the same day and corrected the problem without needing to be babysat by the manufacturer. If you have a Noritz tankless hot water heater, call So Cal Tankless. They know what their doing. Chick's is does not.

We saw water in the garage. We called them do locate the source. They came said we had a leak and charged us $250 for their brilliant investigative work to see the water on our floor and to tell us we have a leak. It would be extra for them to find the source. We called another plumbing company and the not only traced it to the source for $250 but also capped the leak. We called the owner Chick's to complain but he said that his plumber did everything by their book. Don't waste your money on with this company. If you have a leak, other honest companies will trace and cap the leak for the $250 rather than just coming and looking at your wet floors and just saying ""yes you have a leak"" now you Chicks $250, but they'll be happy to find the source if you pay them more money. What a scam!

I just spoke with the manager of Chick's Plumbing and told him that I was not happy with him charging $502.00 for a garbage disposal that cost $186.00 on Amazon. I don't mind the cost of them coming out here and installing but, WOW!! If you think this increase is okay then more power to you. I, myself, will never call them again and I definitely will not refer them to anyone!
