Sunday during the Christmas season, the guest toilet is still plugged, and I owe Chick's Plumbing $400+, when their employee Joe, without blinking, recommends a procedure that will cost another $600+. ""I'll get a second opinion."" Early the following morning, Joe called : in debriefing with his boss, he had overlooked a possibility - snaking the line when the toilet was removed. He'd like to have another go at it - No Charge. That solved the problem, but on the invoice he added the words Zero Warranty. A face-saving gesture, perhaps, or just a number expressing the likelihood that I will call Chick's for plumbing services again.
On the + side: On the first day, Joe gave me a 10% discount from the bill. He came back the next day and solved the problem at no charge.
On the - side: I could have paid in excess of $1000 on the first day. I have Zero Warranty.

Chick's Plumbing is a total ripoff! We had to replace a water filter from a system that Chick's had originally installed many years ago. It's one that fits underneath the kitchen sink. I called to find out what the price of the new filter (they replaced it every 2 years so they had the info on file). The woman said she didn't have the information and that it would cost $47.50 to have a guy come out for a service call. I said fine. The guy came out, spent 10 mins in my home and said the water filter would cost $619.00 to replace it. I told him that was outrageous! He said that's what his boss said to charge. I said no way!

He then tried to sell me a whole new water system for the entire house for $4300. I said no thanks. So, I was charged $47.50 just to tell me the price of the filter when the woman on the phone could have looked it up and told me the same information for free. They screwed me out for $47.50. Nice huh?

I then called three other plumbing places and I could have a brand new system that fits underneath my sink including the filter for $495. All three of them couldn't understand why a replaceable water filter cost $619. They had never heard of ANY FILTER costing that much for an under the sink unit. My advice.... Stay away from Chick's Plumbing!

I have dealt with many vendors. Chick's was the worst in my memory. I had a kitchen sink faucet repair in need. After multiple visits, use of wrong parts, and basically breaking down the old kitchen sink faucet, the overall charge ended up being a whopping $550! That's not including the sink faucet. While working on the faucet, the plumber did something to the dishwasher so that the door wouldn't open. We ended up calling the manager who swore this was one of his best workers. Fortunately, we did not have to pay for the fixing of the dishwasher door!

Very unprofessional, not trustworthy, and took advantage of a situation. I would not trust this company. Greedy. Unethical.

Chicks plumbing took me for an absolute ride. There are plumber showed up on the premise and one in and try to do a repair to our commercial plumbing he said he had finished after about 10 minutes and handed us an absolutely awful Bill and claim to fixed it within 30 minutes it started leaking again and it was water all over and I closed my business. Beware of chicks plumbing and there unethical plumbers.

I hired chicks to come out for a leak. There was water all over our shop floor. They gave nothing but excuses and didn't fix the problem. They handed us a bill that was exorbitant! We complained and it fell on deaf ears.

They didn't fix the problem, lied and said they did! Then when confronted they lied again! I would highly recommend avoiding chicks plumbing at all costs!

There are plenty of great plumbers out there, chicks is not one of them.

so these guys are really RUDE and GREEDY.i used them for a sewer problem and they did not want to answer any questions i had about the job? red flag! they said take it or leave it we are in a hurry. they dont care about customers. they want to abuse people that are in need and take the money. i wish i would have read the reviews beforehand, but i did see how many people felt the same way. and they are still in business? THE ISSUE THEY WORKED ON DID WAS NOT FIXED , so i will have to call another plummer they did not want to come bake and rectify the issue. but who would want them back anyway.THEY need to be PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!

I really hate to give bad reviews, but I am very disappointed with their lack of service. We have been having a problem with our tankless water heater, and Brett came out and since I had just descaled the unit, we thought that might have fixed the problem. I asked about adjusting the manifold pressure, since that is what Noritz said had to be done, and Brett said that he had never adjusted the manifold pressure on any unit before, so he didn't do it. It cost $47.50 to do nothing. We even talked about getting a different water filter unit with a water softener to see if that helped in the future. We are still getting the same error, and when I called to have someone come back out to check the manifold pressure, I was told it would cost another $47.50 service call. Sorry, if I am going to have to pay, I'll pay someone else to do it. Really sorry, Brett, you were a nice guy but not worth another $47.50.

One star for being so greedy. I have a slab leak and have decided that rather than repair the problem, I am going to completely redo the plumbing in my 1970's-built home.

I live 1/2 mile from Chicks and asked them to come and bid the job. I was flabbergasted to hear that they charge $47.50 to give estimates. And yes, I clarified this with the woman on the phone. ""Just to be clear, are you telling me that you will charge me $47.50 to drive to my house and give me an estimate?"" Her answer, ""Yes"".

Thank you to Jersey Joe from Chick's Plumbing who came out on a Saturday to fix our plumbing emergency! My husband broke the shut off valve to the house and we were without water until Joe saved the day! Chick's has a great reputation - they were able to get to our house within an hour after we called and did a beautiful job fixing what needed to be fixed!
