Thank you to Jersey Joe from Chick's Plumbing who came out on a Saturday to fix our plumbing emergency! My husband broke the shut off valve to the house and we were without water until Joe saved the day! Chick's has a great reputation - they were able to get to our house within an hour after we called and did a beautiful job fixing what needed to be fixed!
Kelly answered the phone and set up our appointment to fix a bad tub spout and clean out the clogged drain. She was professional and very courteous and got us set up for first thing the following morning. I love that - let's get it done!! Clay showed up on time - love that too!! Great guy and, as well, honest and very professional. He took care of the problem within an hour. The bill was over $200.00 less than the plumbing company that had given me a prior quote for the exact same work. Thanks, Chicks!!
Brett, you are truly the best! What a pleasure to meet someone that is as professional, courteous and knowledgeable as you. I will use your company for all my future plumbing needs. Thank you again for a job well done!
My regular plumber had spent an hour tearing apart my wall looking for a leak and determined it was rooted in the slab. Unfortunately he was booked and could not get to it within a week. He suggested I call one of the local plumbers. I went with Chick's, what a mistake. Their guy shows up, spends 10 minutes looking at what my plumber had done, and breaks out an estimate of $500 to check out the leak, and says it will be a minimum of $1500-$1700 on top of that no matter how little time they spend. And he adds, we might need to re-pipe the whole house!
When I say that's insane, he says it's a service business and that's the way it works. When I tell him I ran a multi million service business for 10 years, he says I'm just a worker, not the boss. He then proceeds to charge me $89 for his ""service"" call.
I got the job done the next day by Bobby Plumbing for $1100. Everything works perfectly now.
CHICK'S IS A RIPOFF, DON'T EVEN CALL THEM!

Ron A.We had a serious problem with our entire home's plumbing system completely blocked by a failed soft water system introducing resin to every fixture in the house.
Joe came out early on a Sunday morning, diagnosed the problem and went right to work to get us functional again.
It was a tedious job, trying to unclog each fixture in the house, but he did a great job, making sure we understood what he was doing and why, through the whole process. We really appreciated both his effort and his empathy for our situation. I'd be happy to endorse his work to anyone who asks.
Thanks to Chick's and to Joe.
If there were 0 stars I'd give that. Bunch of thieves. I was gone on a business trip and my wife called Chicks for a tankless hot water heater problem. They sent a plumber who claimed to have had flushed the system to restore operation. Turns out that installer of water heater never installed flush valves. It would have been impossible to flush system. Complaint to Chicks was met with absolute refusal to acknowledge what was obviously them taking advantage of a woman alone who's husband was out of town.
Too bad I cannot give minus stars on this one. Clay came out on 10/19/13 to unclog a main line drain. He never opened the external cleanout located prominently at the front of the home. Instead, he went into the master bathroom and, after a phone call, decided to pull the toilet. As the clean out had not been opened, the system was under pressure. Naturally, when he removed the toilet, the pressurized system spewed water all over the master bath, leaked under the walls to the adjacent family bath and partially flooded the master bedroom. Only when he had the toilet removed did he bring in the snake. The simple clog was cleared in record time once he inserted the snake. Clay made no attempt to clean up the mess and promptly presented us with a bill for more than $700 and left. It took days to sop up the mess in the bathrooms (plural) and dry out the carpet in the master bedroom. I will never call on Chick's again.
We had a ruptured water supply line and called Chicks Plumbing. They were on time, assessed the situation, and gave us a fair price to fix it. Danny came to our house and did the work. He put new high quality copper pipe replacing the old plastic pipe. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He is the MAN! Thank you Danny for a great job!!
Joanne L.I would give zero stars if I could. Clay came out to our home to look at a leaking bathroom sink faucet. He quoted me $164 to diagnose the problem and en another $304 to fix it. This was a dripping faucet. If I had known it would cost nearly $500 to fix it I would have just replaced the whole faucet. Clay not only was dishonest, he was rude and and unprofessional. I knew he was upset that we didn't do all the other expensive fixes he recommended so he had to cheat us in charging us way too much for a simple job. Please go elsewhere! Clay and Chicks are crooks!!!
Christian R.We ran into Danny, one of the service technicians at a job in Capo Beach and the customer was ranting and raving about him. Danny minimized potential hazards and made the woman, whom was much older feel so comfortable and safe. He had to come back the next morning for an early appt and he even brought her a Starbuck's coffee... now that is service :)
