Called Chick's Plumbing this morning because the previous owner had used them to install a whole home water purification system, plus they are very close to our home - and we like supporting local businesses.

We had a kitchen sink backup, and the plumbing into the disposal was badly corroded into the disposal unit - so I knew I would need to purchase a new disposal.

I was quoted between 3 to 5:00 pm, and although I was hoping for sooner than that, I called Chick's back and booked the appointment. We received a call at approximately 11:00 am that they could in fact come right then - and Bret and his helper arrived at 11:15 am.

They installed the new disposal, and hooked everything backup, but the sink drain needed snaking. While snaking, there appeared to be quite a lot of black grease that probably contributed to the blockage issue, over a few years time.

After thoroughly snaking, everything seemed to be fine. I was impressed with the workmanship, and friendly attitude of Bret. He also lives in South OC, and knows the area well.

We live in Dana Point, and I would highly recommend Chick's as a local professional plumbing company, here in South OC.

Wanted to thank Brett for coming out to our home earlier this month to take a look at a leak we had. While I had the impression Brett knew how to fix our problem, he was honest enough to say they were not certified to work on the job and referred me to another plumber who was. Brett also spent some time walking my property answering some questions I had about a few other items. He is good and reliable man!

Whenever you need plumbing problems repaired right the first time, you need to call Chick's.
Bret, the owner, has been here to fix a leak coming from our kitchen ceiling. He was also here to convert our bbq from propane to natural gas!
He does it all!

Clay was called to replace our ""old, rotten"" aluminum pipes under the kitchen sink. Those pipes have been here since 1974! I called Chick's Plumbing again this week to fix a slab leak. Clay came out the same day that I called. He fixed our problem by rerouting the 1/2"" cold line. It is such a pleasure to work with professional people that you can trust.

I would recommend Chick's plumbing to anyone, family and friends. These guys are top notch. They're knowledgeable,honest and very competitively priced.

I can't imagine calling any plumbing company that isn't Chick's.

We have been using Chicks for over 20 years and have always been extremely satisfied. Expert professional repairs and installations and we would never consider anyone else!! Clay has been to our house many times and never for anything that was previously repaired. You cannot go wrong using Chicks!! :):)

Called Chicks Plumbing to install a whole house water shutoff valve while leaving the sprinkler system on. Joe came a short time later, looked over our plumbing system and found that we already had a valve in a convenient location. That was a big surprise as we've lived here more than 20 years. Joe told us to turn off our circulating pump when we turn offf the water so the pump doesn't burn out. Almost the best part of this experience with Chicks is that there was no bill for the information. We are certain to make Chicks Plumbing an automatic call for any plumbing problem.

This company is wonderful. Had a kitchen sink clog on Friday evening. Called them and left a message in the emergency vm (even though it really wasn't an emergency). They immediately called back and said they could be at the house on 8am Saturday. They were exactly on time and fixed the job in less than an hour.

They will be my go-to plumber going forward. Thanks!!!!!!!

I have used checks for the past 10 years off and on for my plumbing needs. I recently had Chicks Plumbing come out to give me an estimate to replace our water heater. When they gave me a estimate I thought that it was really high. So I called out and got estimates from 2 other local plumbers. They were within $50 of each other. Both were better in price by over $800 as compared to Chick's. I called Chicks to let them know the price difference and they just said thanks for lettings know and that was it. I had heard rumors that Chick's was sold in the past couple of years. My suggestion unless it's an plumbing emergency get estimates from other plumbers if you are thinking about using Chicks.

Chicks is a great plumbing company! Bret and Clay are great plumbers Always nice and give good explanations on why something needs to be done or replaced. We have always found them to be quite reasonable and competitive with other plumbers. Give them a call:)
