Edwin is very prompt in his responses, efficient and thorough in his work, and just a kind person to interact with! The first time we worked with Edwin we had a really unique situation where our kitchen sink disposal was backing up into our guest shower--talk about gross. Edwin handled it very professionally. He found the root of the problem, corrected it, and gave us easy maintenance directions to prevent it from happening again. Since then, we have called on Edwin several more times, from installing bidets to fixing leaks, and every interaction has been a great experience. Would highly recommend this business!

I have used the services of Chicagoland Quality Plumbing several times. I used to own a condo and they did work there before I sold it. I now own a home and they have done work here numerous times. I can't stress enough how pleasant it is to work with this company. I used Edwin previously to install new drain pipes under my sink. I called him again, hoping I had found a plumber for our future building problems. I had a leak from the pipes he previously installed. Upon tightening the connections, the leak stopped. He recommended a heavier gauge replacement, which I agreed to. He seemed irritable so I tried to engage him to soften the mood. He left and I had a new leak. He said he would try to work me in to look at it as he was very busy...and parking was difficult in my neighborhood , it would be Saturday at 8AM...3 days later, I had a bowl under my sink to prevent damage. By the way...he parked in my driveway, so I'm not sure what the parking issue was. When I spoke to him and told him calmly that since the new leak occurred after his work I would think he would want to solve the problem. He told me I was very difficult and didn't want to come back... So it seems he doesn't stand behind his work...just seems to want to make a quick buck...which is overpriced in my estimation. I thought he was extremely rude to me and I was very uncomfortable with his anger over something he did. I would never use him again...and it is the first time I have ever been called ""difficult"". I owned a successful service business in the gold coast for many years
and I know how to treat people...I have never ever been told I was difficult to deal with before. He just didn't want to bother. Beware!

Need rotten pipe replaced on kitchen sink. Edwin responded, apologized fora missed first appointment. He explained the job, giving the price if the pipe is replaced from the connection. The next estimate was if he had to tear out the wall to get to the pipe, which is more costly. Fortunately Edwin was able to easily replace the pipe. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He wore a mask as well as feet covering and cleaned up afterwards. Will use again

We called Edwin for a slow drain problem. He responded quickly and we set an appointment for him to come diagnose the issue. He called ahead to let us know he was on the way and arrived on time. He identified the problem quickly and power rodded the problem drain pipe, which solved the slow drain problem. He left the area clean, and was super friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend him. Edwin has replaced our sump pump, ejector pump, fixed some minor plumbing issues found during our home inspection, and most recently addressed a leak under our kitchen sink. I've used Edwin and his company several times over the years. The last time he sent someone out, they broke something and didn't fix it, but Edwin took care of it after the fact (couldn't have asked for more). This last week was the first time I've used Edwin since that last visit and got sticker shocked (wasn't aware of his price increase and 2x on parts) after he finished the job. I paid him immediately but told him I was surprised by the charges and will look for another plumber. He began to send me scathing texts, leaving a voice mail where he was yelling and telling me I'm a terrible customer, and then proceeded to call me back to yell at me some more before I hung up the phone. Not sure what happened, but I'm sad to lose someone I've trusted.

UPDATE: Edwin provided a refund for his services. I did not request the refund, so I'm assuming Edwin was just trying to make things right.

Mr. Flores was amazing. I called him the first week of February (when everyone's pipes had frozen and cracked) to repair a leaking tub drain line, and he got to my place quickly, despite being very busy, and then got the leak fixed in record time. Edwin was quick to come out to give a free estimate. He was also quick to get the job scheduled. Everything went as expected. Very happy with the work. Job consisted of replacing the outside faucet & main shutoff. Also, added a shutoff for the faucet.
