I couldn't find a bad thing to say about these guys if I tried! After several back-ups in my bathroom I learned tree roots were growing in my bathroom pipes and I needed emergency repair ASAP. Found these guys on Angie's list. The response time was incredibly fast. The diagnosis was spot on and they got right to work. The entire team of guys worked quickly and provided updates and visual evidence of work done every step of the way!

The highest high was Joe, the boss of the operation. He's so incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Worked with me on pricing and didn't compromise the quality of work one bit! Even when the scope of work grew (because the problem was MAJOR), Joe kept me calm and reassured. He delivered everything he promised and then some.

From my initial call to their final clean-up (which was done exceptionally well btw), Chicago Sewage Experts was top notch! Book them! You won't regret it!

Don't waste your time with this company. I had an emergency leak that caused damage and informed them of this. They scheduled someone to come out to inspect and fix the leak the next day at 3pm. That morning, someone called and said that they couldn't uphold their 3pm schedule because everyone was busy fixing ""emergency issues"". So essentially, they skipped over my job which I told them was urgent... Fine. So the guy asks if he can instead come by the next day at 9:30am. I told him that it was urgent and he said he understood. The next day comes and no call or text. I called him and no answer. I called their office and they said they didn't have anyone else who could come out. This is ridiculous. Avoid them at all costs and go with someone else.

My bathtub and bathroom sink were backed up. I called them Tuesday afternoon, Bob and Nick were here the next morning. They wore masks and were very courteous and professional. The problem was fixed quickly and now my tub and sink are draining with no issue. I would definitely recommend this service.

After resolving a miscommunication issue, they came out and got our plumbing issues fixed! Adam and his crew were fantastic! Hardworking and a friendly group of contractors.

I struggled with leaving any remarks regarding my experience with Chicago Sewer Experts, but I can't get pass this experience. After contacting the company we scheduled for Tuesday at 11:00am. On Tuesday, Brian called (about 8:45am) and asked if they could come early. I happily agreed, well Gabriel did not show up until 11:45am. When he arrived he really did not check anything. I mistakenly showed him the video of the sewer water back up I experienced and he started some small talk, but never looked in my drains, didn't check the plumbing (i.e., flush the toilet. I literally asked, ""are you going to check the drain to make sure there is not blockage?"" he shined his flashlight from a barely crotched position and said, ""do your toilets flush, if so then there's no problem"". He then started throwing out costs, so of course I asked if I would have a written quote. Gabriel went to his truck for about 5-7 mins and then asked me to come outside so he can show me what they would need to do. Let me say that my home is 1248 sq ft. My chimney stack sits about 1/2 in the middle of my home, Gabriel told me that from the chimney stack to my grass area in front of my home is 52 ft. Nope, I am having a fence installed tomorrow that is the entire length of my backyard and it is 52 ft. Secondly, he seemed to be pulling numbers out of the air and this quote that he left me does nothing to support his ""estimate""...hold on to your pants: ""to haul away dirt and install double check valve with pit and sewage pump $14,000 and then overhead sewer is putting a basement pit and hook up with the wall outside 21ft then clay pipe approx 52ft ($21,000)"". I am really curious where Gabriel came up with these measurements and costs. Anyway, I have had 2 other companies come out and no one has come even close to either of these outrageous estimates and yes, both companies have 5 stars on Yelp. Maybe if he actually pretended to look around the basement, he would have discovered that there is a sewer drain at the front end of the basement, eliminating the need for the type of digging he suggested, both of the other companies noticed the drain, asked me to flush the toilet, got on their knees and looked in the drains and finally suggested it was a much more effective method to work from the front drain to stop the water from the street. Sorry this is so long, but I wanted to give the full picture.

I just wanted to thank Adem for the hard work he put in. Along with the hard work, Adem was kind and understanding. This is the first time going through something like this! Soooo much money, and work, this was devastating to me. Adem reinsured me, him and his team will fix everything. Thanks Adem and thank your mom for raising such a pleasant young man!!!

My neighbors and I had floods a few days ago when the big storms hit. I had water in my basement each day for two days afterwards. I called my plumber but he had just had cataract surgery. Chicago Sewer Experts' truck was parked in front of my house because they were working on my neighbors' house. I called the company and Brett came over and assessed the situation. He told me that the ejector pump needed to be replaced. He was very nice and extremely professional. He explained everything about the pump. He wore his mask and gloves and we spoke outside. He said that he could come and replace the pump the following morning.

I called Charlie, my plumber, to tell him, and he said that he would come in the morning and replace the pump. When I called Brett to tell him that Charlie would do the replacement, he was very gracious. I saw Brett again right after the pump was installed and he told me that Charlie had helped him with something at my neighbors' house. Brett is the kind of person that we all want to work with. I will call Chicago Sewer Experts when Charlie retires!

I have not used yelp to write reviews but feel that it is necessary for me to do so. I encountered the most professionalism that I have experienced in quite awhile. I had the pleasure of being greeted by Joseph and Adrian and upon meeting them was asked my concerns with my plumbing issue. The weather was horrible but it did not dampen their moods. I would welcome those 2 performing any future plumbing issues that may occur. Explained everything in detail. Thank you Joseph and Adrian, I truly appreciate the service you provided. You should get a bonus having to be out in such nasty weather.

Adam was great. Fixed the problem right away and provided helpful tips. He came the same day and was very straightforward and helpful .

I had Brett install two new Toto bidet style toilets and two new Toto toilets in a different location. Though the job took much longer than originally planned, he was very thorough, conducting multiple supply runs to ensure that he installed the proper components. They were very competitive with their pricing but more importantly I am sold for future projects on their follow through.
