Our plumber, Zeno, walked us through every step our our plumbing issues and how everything needed to be fixed. On top of the professionalism of the service, our plumber was kind and clean in and out. This company is hyper informative, super professional and very formal. I would highly recommend this company and will be returning for further plumbing problems

Chicago Pipe Authority saved my ceiling from more damage by fixing a leaky pipe. Zee walked me through the plan and helped me find a solution that fit my budget. He made sure I understood everything that was going on. He was in and out same day (lucky for me and my ceiling) and had a guy come to repair the hole the next day. No salesman talk, comes to you like a friend with your best interest in mind. Highly recommend

Chicago Pipe Authority has made me feel confident in their ability from the moment they answered my phone call. They asked questions so they could be prepared when they arrived at my home. They showed up on time, diagnosed let un appointment with in few days and fixed my problem for less than I anticipated. They left my house clean and also in the way out happened thet my neighbors below where out, Zee explained everything to them what they did to fix the leak from the main bell valve in my unit and make them feel also safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend for responsiveness, price and professionalism.
This is a new company but has some really PRO who are running it!

Chicago Pipe Authority was called out to my place by my HOA to rod out a laundry line that was causing a leak in a unit below me. The line was rodded out and the leak was confirmed to have stopped in the unit below. Unfortunately, this is where all the problems started. Everything that happened next is completely outside the scope of why they were even called onsite.

Despite me telling the plumbers that nothing in my kitchen was leaking, they insisted on poking around and checking under my sink. While under there, Chicago Pipe Authority literally broke one of the drain pipes to my sink with a wrench, immediately leaking water all over the place.

After they BROKE MY DRAIN, they turn around and charge me $185 to fix it. This is the plumbing version of extortion. This drain has worked without flaw for 6+ years until they broke it. Sadly, it does not end here.

They also decided to break and disconnect the drain pipe to my dishwasher. Again, not a single leak in 6+ years, but Chicago Pipe Authority took it upon themselves to disconnect it, break the pipe collar and then try to charge me $500+ to fix it. I refuse to pay this amount, and asked them to just put it back the way it was, and they have been barely responsive since then.

So now it's been about a week that I am unable to use my dishwasher. Chicago Pipe Authority is not returning my calls or emails, and after seeing this review, they will probably never will. And that is probably for the best, because if they came back, they would likely just break more stuff.

So if you want a plumbing company to create more problems than it solves, and then CHARGE YOU to fix those problems, then this is the company for you. Beware.

Their reply to this is total nonsense. I agreed to the PVC only after my sink drain was broken (by you) and was totally useless. The seal leak is negligible and had nothing to do with the draining or leaking you were called for. I did threaten to write a honest review, and as expected, you finally replied afterward. Sadly, that is the only way to get attention from some people these days.
