Be careful Chester county pools really push the dough-boy pools. I had one for less than 3 months the pump failed they do not honor the warranty. Chester County pools knew this when they pushed the pool. Once the pump failed they then told you the manufacture will not stand behind the product
I have an above ground pool that wasn't planned for and very little experience keeping the water clean and blue. I also didn't buy this pool from CCPools. However, Wayne and Robin have paid personal attention to my needs since I first came in about 3-months ago. I'm a disabled Veteran of the Iraq War and I get confused and frustrated quite quickly. My pool water filter had thick blue ""muck"" in it that even Wayne had never seen before. Well, it turns out I had bought Chlorine from another source that had an indicator dye in it. Wayne spent about an hour with me and Robin conducted an Alkalinity test. Turns out my pool is in great shape, I just didn't need this indicator. I plan to only buy from CCPools. Finally, these guys asked me about my military service. They asked me about my family and life. They didn't just sell me products. It can be busy in the store. I am so glad these guys are near to my home and I have a safe, reliable place to purchase pool supplies. Thank you CCPools!!!
I started using Chester County Pools a few years ago.
They are very helpful and knowledgeable. This year, I had a problem
with my Spider Gasket and a small problem turned into a much larger one but I was thankful that Jeff came out and got the parts I needed quickly and fixed everything so that my pool is running efficiently. He worked very hard to get what I needed in a timely manner.
I trust Chester County Pools for all my needs and would highly recommend them.
Eleanor F.As a new home owner contracted to have this company open the pool. Paid close to $500 in advance to have them come out mid June. I come home to a pool that looks like a toilet and a note stating parts are missing. Called the company and spoke with an employee who wanted to lecture me on taking accountability for not knowing where the parts were from the previous owners and who told me to call back when I calmed down before hanging up on me...I'm gonna need $500 worth of satisfaction before I calm down or stop complaining about how much of a cluster ---- this experience has been. Too bad I was looking forward to a long customer relationship based on the back story online. Fuhgetabout it
I have been a pool owner for the past nine years in the Chester County area. This year upon opening my pool I notice when I removed my winter cover that I had a big Algae problem. I also saw that my skimmer had a big crack in it from the winter temps. I never had these issues before. I told my wife that this year we need someone who knows what they are talking about to get this under control quick. I remembered the previous owner of my pool telling me that he bought the pool from Chester County Pools 12 years prior. I called them up on Memorial Day Of 2018 and a very nice lady answered the phone. Your open! I told her my issues and she even had my old model skimmer in stock in two colors! I thought I would never be able to get the same model after all these years. No more big box stores for me and the internet is always a big gamble. I decided to give them a try because after looking at their website I saw that they were a family owned business and have been in business for many many years. My wife and I headed to their store and we were greeted by the owners who could not have been more helpful. I spoke to Wayne about my pool water concerns and my wife spoke to his wife Robin about getting our skimmer replaced. What a great experience. I was schooled on proper water treatment for which I was grateful for his time with me. After a great stay we left knowing we would be back . I returned with a new water sample and this time met their son Jeff who like his father and mother could not have been more helpful in getting my water issues resolved. Four days latter and I have a sparkle clean pool! They have a loyal customer going forward as long as I have a pool. Cannot say enough about that family run business.
Thanks again.

I wouldn't even give one star but I had to give something. I wrote Jeff a check for over $2300 and he never worked on my pool. When I tried to sue him in small claims court all his assets were in his wife's name so I got nothing. Don't trust him he's just not a nice person.
EXTREMELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
My husband and I scheduled a pool inspection for a house we were planning on buying. Chester County Pools required full payment of $250 in advance, which we paid. We were never told that there were no refunds in the event of a cancelled appointment. One day after scheduling the inspection, we found we needed to terminate our contract on the house for an unrelated reason. My husband cancelled the pool inspection 3 full days prior to when it was scheduled to occur. The employee on the phone, Jeff, informed him that he would speak to the owner (his father) and find out about how much could be refunded. My husband called Jeff back 3 more times and each of the times was told that they would get back to him. Yesterday, 5/30/17, my husband called again and was called back shortly after. Jeff told him they would reimburse us half of what we paid. He indicated he was helping us out by getting the 50% refund. My husband tried to further discuss the amount that would be reimbursed, requesting that a higher percentage, if not all, of the amount be refunded to us. I was in the room with him, and my husband remained calm and rational the entire time. Jeff became irate on the phone, refusing to discuss the matter further, repeatedly asking ""Do you want partial reimbursement or do you want nothing?"" and said ""You are testing my patience here."" When my husband told him that he would report him to the Better Business Bureau, Jeff hung up on him, clearly indicating we would be reimbursed nothing.
My mother overheard the story and called Jeff back herself. She said ""My son-in-law is a nice guy. The person he spoke to was not a nice guy. How dare you speak to my son-in-law like that?"" And Jeff immediately hung up on her as well. Our realtor then tried calling Jeff back, and he told her that my husband and my mother were ""abusive"" to him, and then our realtor said that it was like a switch flipped and Jeff became angry with her as well. If anyone was abusive and unprofessional in these exchanges, it was Jeff.
We cancelled our appointment without 24 hours of making it and with 72 hours' notice and are very dismayed, first, that a company employee was so rude on the phone (and thought it appropriate to yell at and hang up on a customer) and second that they are keeping 100% of our payment for a service that was promptly cancelled.
