.Had my heating and air conditioning installed by them in a new home. Heat pump had issues 3 years later and they said my one year warranty was up and even though I have a 10 year labor and parts warranty they weren't going to honor the labor of agreement and would not submit it. So all insight home owners beware!!! Tech was nice but didn't fix the problem the first time and from what I found out from company that I got to fix it was that they replaced the wrong part and didn't really know what the real problem was. They gave me a 2500 estimate to come back and replace many parts that didn't need replaced. Be aware of them!!

I purchased a new home that Chesapeake Hone Services installed the furnace and the air conditioning unit. Apparently they never checked to see if it actually worked! So it's 90+ degrees and the unit is not working! Several calls today and the tech told me he can't come out to fix the issue because it's under warranty so I have to wait til Monday for someone to fix their issue! Total BS! So the customer suffers for their incompetence to even install the unit properly! It's brand new!!!

My tankless water heater stopped working. The plumbers returned after what was initially such a slow leak that the source couldn't be located in the heating element and in a few days worsened to a constant leak, returned to deal with the Rinnai to get the warrantied part needed. Everyone from the service desk to the plumbers who did the work were courteous, professional, and helped me cope with the situation. I can't say enough positive about their help. Both technical know-how and personal interest in helping me are truly appreciated.

I don't know how they stay in business. Signed a contract with them 1.5 years ago. Called for spring service, left a message on V/M, nothing. Called next day left message in person with receptionist, nothing. Called several days later, asked for person who signed contract, was put in V/M, left message, never heard back. What is going to happen when I really need them? Moved on .

This company installed a toilet during a renovation. Several months after, the toilet stopped functioning. When we called them the first time, they were very responsive; however, less than a week after the repair person 'fixed' the toilet, it stopped functioning, again. This time--and the next two times we had to call them for the same issue-- they took up to two weeks to come to the house. After four visits for the same issue, they decided to replace the toilet. We had to wait for the new toilet and then the repair person arrived with the wrong toilet. We had to wait, again, for them to bring the correct toilet. The repair person arrived, installed the toilet, and later that day the toilet began to refill constantly. We have called numerous times and have left messages explaining the problem, but they refuse to return our calls. Not only are they unresponsive, I think they may be incompetent. We have had to call another plumber and we've had to pay for a service that Chesapeake should have provided. I would never recommend this company.

We had a main line from the street to the house break and we were out of town. Called Chesapeake and they were wonderful! Dealing with a problem of this size from long distance is difficult and unnerving. Are we getting the best info?
