Cherry Hill Plumbing has come through for us twice with fast service and reasonable rates. The first time we called Mark, he quickly solved an issue with a jammed shower faucet cartridge that a different plumbing company could not extract.

Then, day-before-yesterday our 19-year-old water heater finally gave up the ghost. I called Cherry Hill and Mark and Ruben arrived the next day, and installed a new water heater in about 3 hours.

This is exactly the kind of service I had hoped for and was able to avoid paying an ""emergency fee"" that I was quoted elsewhere.

I highly recommend Mark and Cherry Hill Plumbing.

I called Cherry Hill Plumbing to request a quote for furnace replacement. When Mr. Hilla arrived I explained that the furnace was not reliable and worked intermittantly and we needed a price quote for replacement. Mr. Hilla asked to see the unit. A few minutes later, he had some covers off and announced the problem was a safety switch (which he had taped closed) and the furnace was fixed and replacement wasn't necessary at this time. I again asked for a bid. Mr. Hilla mentioned several possible prices, suggesting lower prices were possible without a permit. He did notice that we could use some carbon monoxide detectors. Mr. Hilla charged $89 for a ""diagnostic"" and left. The furnace won't turn on, the problem persists and I never received a written quote. I gave him 2 stars because he recommended CO detectors and was such a smooth talker. Glad he wasn't selling a car. I might have bought it.

Unfortunately, I've had to call a lot of plumbers over the years. I was always skeptical about the service or pricing I'd get. But now I only call Cherry Hill. Mark is honest, fair, communicative, and all the things you want in a contractor, but seldom find.

Mark has done quite a bit of work for us in our ""new"" home since we moved to the area in December. He is an experienced plumber who actively researches problems as well; he doesn't just guess or ask a friend. He replaced our three toilets, our hot water tank, and our water pressurizer; and created space for and installed a new laundry room sink and faucet. He spent weeks off and on trying to figure out why the new pressurizer wasn't working but he pursued the problem systematically and diligently and finally solved the mystery. He never showed a hint of impatience or made it ""our problem."" We are just getting ready to call him for several more plumbing projects. We wouldn't think of calling anyone else! .
