I had a gas stove that I was replacing with an electric one, and I wanted a plumber to cap off the old gas line. Nick was able to squeeze in the job the next day, and he did it all in about half an hour with parts he had on hand. He was friendly, explained the work he'd do, did it all, and walked me through what he'd done. The price came out to $335, which isn't ""cheap,"" but I'm not looking for the lowest bidder when it comes to plumbing, because I've seen how that turns out. I'd definitely hire Cheddar's Plumbing again next time I need to bring in a plumber.

After making several calls to get more than one estimate, Nick was the first to call so I set up an appointment.

My wife was home without me when he arrived. After just a few minutes with him, she called me and said this is the guy... look no further.

She doesn't care about the price or if I had anyone else coming. She's a terrific judge of character. And boy, was she right. (don't tell her I said that)

When the water line into our basement was leaking, I was trying to avoid calling one of the ""typical"" bigger plumbing companies in the area. I saw Cheddars had some good reviews and gave Nick a call. His response time was incredible -- he stopped by on his way to another job to look at our issue. He identified the problem right away, sent us a quote and even showed up earlier then the expected appointment time to fix the problem. It took him about 45 minutes to fix. Nick is super responsive, down-to-earth, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable (exactly what you're looking for in a plumber). Will definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing needs.

I don't even know where to start besides..... AMAZED & THANKFUL!! We moved here to Pittsburgh only to find out that in our home we did not have a working main shut off valve. I called Nick and he was over in 10 minutes to take a look and give me a bid and a week later we have a new and functional shutoff valve. Our toilet was leaking and we scheduled Nick to replace the wax ring. Upon inspection due to the age of the toilet and signs of rust he recommended possible replacement. He provided pictures and explained unexpected complications. He picked up a new toilet for us and replaced it all in the same appointment. Contacted Nick Sunday due to an issue with our kitchen sink not draining properly. He made it out Monday afternoon and fixed the issue very quick. Very happy with how fast he was able to respond, schedule and fix our problem so we had a functioning kitchen sink again.
He also lets you know via text when he is coming and sends an invoice/receipt immediately after the service is complete.

Nick was so kind and friendly. He fixed multiple issues in my house so quickly. He put in a new water heater, replaced my old leaking pipes, hooked up my washing machine and fixed my kitchen sink that wasn't hooked up properly.
