I used them last year to re-do some faulty clothes washer work in a house I bought. Dad showed up on time. Super nice man, years of experience. The job was a little tougher than he thought, because the studs were tight in that spot and I wanted him to stay close. It was getting late, but he was bound and determined to do beautiful copper work, which he did. Eventually, the son showed up to help dad finish up. How sweet is that? Equally skilled but half the age. I will call them again

Francisco is the man. I'm a GC in South Lake Tahoe and recently had a plumber do bad work on a project and it didn't pass inspection. I hired Francisco with Chavez plumbing to help come fix the issues. He was able to identify and resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. He tore out the other plumbers work and did everything correct. He's very professional and hard working. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a plumber. The other big name plumbers in town don't do nearly as good of work as Chavez plumbing. Francisco and team are the only plumbers in south lake I'd recommend. Thank you Chavez plumbing !!!!

James was prompt, professional and friendly. This was his second time here this year, and we appreciate his attention to detail. The only reason for 4 stars: we called in the morning and were told we would get a call 15-20 minutes before he showed up, but never did, so we were not given notice, (not James' fault) he DID show up promptly at our given appointment time, which we appreciate! Will definitely be calling Chavez for any future heating & plumbing needs. Thank you, James!

I have had the worst luck with this company. They do not return calls. We have had initial work done and scheduled with them and needed details on what they were actually going to do. Every time we call they say that they will call back to explain and we never get a call back. It has been months of this. Ended up having to cancel, after paying for the initial scope, and go with someone else. Was looking forward to working with a good company based on the reviews, so I'm not sure what happened in this case. I know people are busy but this has been 6 months of not returning a call.

Our water heater went out and they temporarily fixed it until we could replace it. The temporary fix worked and they made us a priority in the water heater replacement. James came at exactly the time that he said he would. He replaced our water heater expertly, cleaned up after himself and charged us a little less than the estimate. Friendly, hard working, good service. Highly recommended.

James from Chavez came today, right on time. He was so helpful with fixing two problems, suggesting a return time for a third problem and offering to research and get back to us on the fourth and final issue. So nice to have a knowledgeable, personable repair guy take care of things.

I'm all the way out at Kirkwood yet James showed up promptly to correctly diagnose and then perform the simple (and inexpensive) furnace repair needed to finally make it operate right. Chavez was the third plumber to try and figure out my furnace prob and it took him all of 10 minutes. Add that he quickly repaired a kitchen leak while here and I am a satisfied customer.
