I had a broken main valve and old water heater needing replacement on my cabin. The office was efficient at receiving my pictures and relaying on to the plumber. They came out 3 days later to my forest service cabin in strawberry, accommodating my schedule. Super professional, nice technician and a clean nice job. Thank you!!

Chavez Plumbing called me back right away and was able to fix a running toilet within an hour of receiving my call. They were prompt and efficient with the repair. Time was of the essence since our home is used as a vacation rental and guests brought this to our attention. I called a few other plumbers and Chavez was the first to return my call. I'm still waiting to hear from a few others. I will call Chavez Plumbing first the next time I'm in need of another plumber.

What a great experience during a bad situation. I Came home New Years Day to a broken pipe and water spewing out of the entrance to our rental unit which has a booking tomorrow. I called multiple plumbers in town not a single answer. I got a referral from a contractor friend for Chavez Plumbing. I called and they immediately answered! Francisco was here in no time and had the problem fixed in an hour and better than it was to begin with. He was extremely experienced he noticed a design flaw that probably caused the pipe to burst and fixed that as well. We are so pleased with Fransisco and this family buisness. Very prompt, perfessional and to top it off a super nice guy. I let Fransisco know I would be calling him for our future need and his response was thank you but hopefully not anytime soon! What a great guy, thanks again!

This morning my toilet started bubbling......I thought, this can't be good. Then, about 5 minutes later, the worst happened - sewage came up through the shower drain. EEKKKS! I started calling plumbers in the South Lake Tahoe area, but since it was the Friday after Thanksgiving, they were all very busy and not free until the next Tuesday, or charging travel time to chain up and come over the hill.

I called Chavez Plumbing and it said the phone number didn't have a voicemail set up. So, I hung up and proceeded to call others. However, a short time later, the technician called and said he could be here by noon.

Francisco came out and snaked the main line, and spent a good amount of time making sure it was clear almost all the way to the street. After testing it a few times, we were good to go!

I will definitely use this company again, as they did a thorough job making sure my issue was resolved and recommended additional steps to replace or repair sections of the line that are potentially blocked by roots.

Even though I had to pay holiday rates, it was well worth being able to use my bathroom again!

Are only plumbers i could find in Tahoe that had detection equipment to ascertain where underground or behind the wall pipes existed for drilling work required by pest control people. They seemed very thorough and we're very polite. I would recommend them also to do plumbing work. They came highly recommended by another company

This is a long overdue review! When a friend asked for a plumber last night, I jumped to tell him about Chavez Plumbing. I've lived in Tahoe for over 25 years and have had not great experiences in the past.
Chavez and co. were on-time, great prices and cleaned up after working. Would absolutely recommend and have!
