Chase Mechanical installed my new bathtub incorrectly and with the wrong trim finish (Later, Chase demanded I pay an extra $150 for labor to install the correct trim even though I did not make the ordering mistake). Weeks passed with no contact or effort to resolve other issues with their work. Later, I was told, ""I forgot about you for a few weeks.""
When I was finally contacted, I received a text message asking that the remaining balance, which amounted to less than 25% of the total bill, be paid. I responded that I would settle with them WHEN ALL of the work was done. The plumber complained to the general contractor and, subsequently, I received a phone call from him blasting me that I was ""holding the [plumber's] money ""hostage!"" After the final issues were addressed, I ended up paying Chase's price PLUS $75 for someone else's ordering mistake (just to show good faith).
Regarding this company and my experience, I would have to say that I would NOT hire them again due to a consistent lack of communication from beginning to end on the job (billing, job specs, etc.), not handling issues in a timely manner, displaying a ""blame the customer"" first attitude when issues arose, etc.
