I definitely won't be recommending this place to any of my family and friends. Had a very specific problem and was told $126 to walk in the door plus whatever part may be needed. That definitely wasn't the case here. It cost $115 to install a thermostat (plus the $126) that I had to explain to them how to install it because the technician did not know how. I was specifically told $126 and if a part was needed then I would have to pay. I specifically asked over the phone multiple times if it was ""$126 flat"" and specifically asked about any other costs like labor and she assured me only $126 to walk in the door and parts. The scheduling lady doesn't remember the conversation going that way and was extremely unprofessional over the phone today. I would have been less frustrated if I was told upfront WHEN I ASKED what the costs were instead of being blind sided. Makes their competitors more intriguing for the future.
*I would give them zero stars if I could.

I needed a new water heater, so I got bids from several plumbers. One wanted 3 times as much and would only put in cheap heaters. Chasco let me choose an excellent heater and offered to put it in at a more reasonable price. They did a great job and it was done the next day.

Very well informed people!!! Didn't overcharge for Freon. Fast, efficient and polite. Willing to answer any questions you have. Will call them again!!!

Many heating and cooling places exist. I have worked with many. Being a father and business owner myself, I want a safe heating system and someone with skill to keep it running properly so that I know everyone is happy while I work. I called Chasco on a Saturday am, first freezing day of fall. They were BUSY! Don still drove way over to Elsie, quickly diagnosed the problem (a mistake made from the original heater installer), repaired it, and then charged me an extremely affordable (low) rate. GREAT work, VERY knowledgeable, VERY fair pricing. Faulty heaters and poor installations kill people. This is why I'll only call Chasco in the future.
