A rare contractor - they show up when they say they will, and do what they said they would do. Our house remodel was a disaster, except for Charlotte Plumbing. Probably not the cheapest, but if you want it done right and on time, these are the guys.

I cannot say enough good about this company. I had great trepidation in hiring a plumbing service, as I had heard horror stories - no shows, over paying, doing a terrible job or only half the job and never coming back to complete work..... CHARLOTTE PLUMBING eased my fears. The plumber who came to do our job was on time, and extremely professional. Shane knows plumbing! I was so happy that my fears were for naught! We had no cold water in our guest bathroom shower/tub, and we had a leak. We're on public water and every drop was costing us! Shane quickly assessed the issues and VOILA it was all fixed. I will hire them again. They are now in my """"ROLODEX"""" as #1 plumbing company going forward. I give them 5 STARS, but only wish I could give them even more. I think some may find this review over exuberant - however, since we just recently moved here full time, we've listened to the news, and others who have had great difficulty in finding RELIABLE, RESPONSIBLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND REASONABLE plumbers/electricians, etc. Consequently, going against this trend and finding one on the first shot who is all of the aforementioned- makes us very happy, indeed!

We're remodeling our master bathroom so we wanted to actually see freestanding bathtubs and choices available. From the minute we walked into the showroom at 3:50, we weren't wanted. The girl that greeted us immediately told us that in remodeling tubs often involves too much, jackhammering pipes, moving drains, etc. She didn't have a clue what our project involved and wouldn't listen to us.... so I walked around the corner and actually found a tub that would work ..she then came over and said that if our truck was parked out front we needed to leave, because Mike needed to lock the gate because he was taking his girlfriend to a concert! She was so rude, which is a shame because she was representing a Business that I know has been around here a long time!

We got three quotes from local plumbing companies. Charlotte Plumbing was the lowest. Our technician Jay was here on time and got right to work on replacing our hot water heater. Jay wore a mask. Jay did a great job and was very tidy with his work. I would highly recommend this company and Jay as the technician if he is available.

I found a broken vent stack in my attic and after calling several plumbers, we hired Charlotte Plumbing. The first tech came out and said he could see the problem but that he was too big to reach it and that they would have to schedule a smaller guy to come out. A few days later 2 guys came out. 1 went in the attic and the other on our roof. We paid and they left. Several months later I went into the attic to check something and found the second tech had crushed our a/c duct. Not a slight crack, he totally crushed it. We called and they sent out an a/c company to fix it. The a/c company did their thing and left. After Irma, I went into the attic and found that their a/c tech had cut the duct back 2 more feet and run a much larger duct from one to the other and the only thing holding it was a piece of tape on top of each end. I called Croy's cooling who came out and and gave us a price to repair it. I called Charlotte Plumbing and they wanted to send the same people out again. I refused and said I want it fixed right. They said to submit the bill and they would take care of it. We had the work done, submitted the bill and waited. Nothing. My wife called and Charlotte Plumbing said the a/c company was paying for the repairs. The a/c company said they were sending us the amount that they were paid by Charlotte Plumbing to fix it but we would have to get the rest from Charlotte Plumbing. My wife went around in circles with Travis who accused us of having the repairs made without giving the advanced notice, which we have emails to show otherwise, then he said that we paid more than they were willing to pay and we should get it from the a/c company. Travis eventually told my wife that he would look into it and get back to her. I called in later that afternoon and asked to speak to the owner. The girl on the phone asked who was calling and what it was regarding. I gave my name and said that it was regarding a messed up job. She put me on hold and after a few minutes she came back and said that the owner was busy and wouldn't be available for another minute and that she would have him call me back. I told her I would wait, that I didn't mind. A couple minutes later Travis gets on the phone, says he spoke with someone and that they will mail out a check for the difference the next day, so I can """"calm down"""" now. I said """"I haven't said anything, what do you mean calm down?"""" He said you were cussing out my girls and I said I have cussed at no one, I only asked to speak to the owner. I find it sad that the girls in the office felt it necessary to lie and accuse me of something that I did not do. We received a check from the a/c company, who was very nice. I do not hold it against them, they had a lazy tech. Charlotte plumbing, still has not sent a check, gave my wife a lame excuse and told us that we will have to wait another week before they will send us a check. It is hard to find an honest company. I can forgive the company if their tech screws up, it isn't their fault. That's why I will not mention the a/c company who screwed up. Charlotte Plumbing, on the other hand, has made the most pathetic excuses. All though they originally did send out someone to fix the a/c, they have done nothing but give us grief and a run around since. I will never hire them for any work ever again. If you hire anyone to work on your house, especially in the attic, try to get someone to check the work when they are done. We had a/c blasting in the attic for months before we found the crushed duct, and months more after the lazy repair. As for the a/c tech who first tried to make the repair, he tried to tie an 8"""" round duct connector to a 9"""" square duct and then tie the 2 together with a 12"""" round duct. Doesn't get much more amateur than that.

These people are absolute thieves. They installed a hot water heater in my new home less than four years ago. It began leaking and I checked the warrantee, it was good for six years. So I called Charlotte Plumbing and the young lady on the phone took the model number and serial number and said, """"not to worry, it is still on warrantee"""". So I scheduled an appointment for replacement. The plumber was a nice polite young man and so I actually helped him lift the new unit into place. Upon completion, he presented me with a bill for $550. He had no explanation for the charges, so I called their office. The woman told me, yes it was on warrantee but the $550 was for labor and permitting. I asked why I was not told when I called and she just repeated, that's for labor and permitting. This unit retails for $521, they get it free from the manufacturer and charged me $550 for 1 1/2 hours labor. You decide if you would want to call Charlotte Plumbing.

Very pleasent and more than competent. We had them replace our water supply pipes a year and a half ago when we were out of town. When we returned the house was cleaner than we left it. The job was done neatly and professionally. Today we had them out again. This time for a problem with our waste line and they had to coordinate the project with another contractor. They showed up on time, and the two contractors worked very well as a team. The problem was found and repaired. An old school contractor that takes pride in their company and treat us as if their jobs depend on us. We highly recomend Charlotte Plumbing.
