It's inevitable that a toilet finally needs to get switched out. It drains out slowly, fills even more slowly still, and sometimes, it just doesn't empty completely with one flush... so it was time. I went to Yelp for help and found Charlie's Sewer & Drain Rooter. The stellar reviews were too much to pass up, so I reached out. Jorge came out, took a look, quickly diagnosed the problem, and even went above and beyond by checking the crawlspace beneath the house for any further work that might need to be addressed. Minutes after he left, a rough estimate came to my Inbox and the price was more than fair for the work that needed to be done (toilet replacement and replacing some piping beneath the house to eliminate a leak.) A few days later, we scheduled him to come back out and do the work, which he did masterfully. Insightful, friendly, and with a real understanding of the business, Jorge walked me through each step, took photos of all the work, and left me his info in case there were any issues. I will definitely be going back to Charlie's for future work, and I recommend you do the same.

Contacted Charlie's and several other places to get an estimate for an issue with our toilet.

They sent Eddie out the same day, and he examined the toilet and gave me his thoughts on what the issue might be, but ultimately, he recommended getting a new one and having him install that. He recommended a brand when I asked, and gave me an estimate for the work. I said that the estimate seemed a little high compared to other prices I'd gotten, and he acknowledged that, but mentioned that the work was warrantied (though to be fair, I do not see this warranty in writing in my paperwork anywhere, which I don't love).

When the toilet arrived, Eddie came and installed it the next day. There were no other issues, and I was charged what I'd been quoted for the estimate. Eddie was friendly and answered my questions, so far, the toilet seems like an upgrade. I'd happily contact this business for future plumbing needs, though I'd definitely have them pin down about the details of the warranty next time.

This time it was Andrew who helped me out with a sink disposal leak -- but I could otherwise cut and paste my review from five months ago: ""prompt, professional, extremely courteous, and did a great job, at an extremely reasonable rate."" Even came, diagnosed the problem, went out and bought the part and came back to finish the job rather than make me schedule another trip. I said last time I'd be happy to engage them again, and I'll say it again.
