We had originally called for a rooter service on our 60+ year old rental house. We also knew that we have been living on borrowed time with our main sewer line since it's been snaked many times over the recent years. Louis broke us the news that we were at the end of our useful life of the line and he provided thorough videos to show where we were at. I had to go out of town while the service was happening and he sent many pictures and video of the progress of the work done, which btw was done almost immediately after our approval. We are totally thrilled with the results that we have gotten from Charlie's and Louis' hard and thorough work. Would recommend them to anyone and will be long term customers going forward.

Ok, this place rocks. We had this god awful squealing in our pipes for about 5 weeks. Had another plumber look at it and was just told to use more hot water or to get a brand new water heater or open up all the walls to look at each pipe to see why the squealing was happening. We're talking thousands upon thousands of dollars. We said no and got a second opinion with Charlie's sewer. Thank goodness we did! Luis pinpointed the problem right away, which was just the pipe pressure stabilizer and fixed it the same day all without us having to spend thousands. Luis told me if the stabilizer was left unchecked any longer. The pipes could've burst. Our house would've been destroyed, and insurance wouldn't have covered it as this could have been avoidable. Nice to meet an honest pleasant plumber and company.

Before I called Charlie's Sewer company, I had a different company come out to hydrojet my sewer line because of root issues I've had at my house. That company told me my pipe was broken in 5 different spots, and the entire line needed to be removed, it would be very expensive, and I would first need to remove a few trees and my retaining wall during the fix. I devastated by this news as I initially thought this would be an easy fix. So I called Charlie's company to see if I could get a second opinion.

They sent out Daniel (Gray sweater in my pictures) and George (in the trench). After a brief assessment, they suggested a more affordable trenchless option using epoxy to repair the more difficult area we needed to reach, as well as digging up and replacing the more accessible broken clay pipe next to my house, and also rerouting pipes to a better location under my house.

They took video of the line, and gave me a reasonable quote that afternoon which I accepted. They came out the next day with a hardworking team that all got busy quickly and was shocked that they were able to complete everything by the end of the day! The coordination and effort was inspiring.

BIG props to Daniel and George for finding a fast solution to this complicated repair, and then leading the team the next day. They said they do this everyday all around LA so it makes sense why they were so professional. Charlie himself even came by in the afternoon to check out the work and he couldn't have been a nicer guy. They've got an A+ team and I definitely recommend this company to anyone that needs sewer line repair.

I've had plumbers come out twice now from Charlie's and have had a great experience both times. The two plumbers who fixed our sink clogs before were great - nice, helpful guys. Jorge this visit was awesome too. He was quick, helpful and communicative with fixing the toilet issue. Then I asked if he could possibly look at our other toilet too. Which he did, and he gave possible solutions and ended up fixing that one for us as well at a reasonable combined cost. He was really pleasant and great to work with.

I can't rate this company on their plumbing service because I couldn't get past the receptionist. Three times she asked me what city I was in - even though when I first called, I asked her if she serviced our area and gave our specific city. Then she asked for my first and last name. When I start spelling it (not an overly complicated name), after first speaking my first and last name, she repeated it back to me, misspelled, and then asked if that was either my first name or last name. When I told her I had given her first/last as she requested, she said she wasn't sure if that was a ""whole name"". What?
She made such a bad impression that I did not book the appointment and am going elsewhere.
Suggestion for this business: Whoever answers the phone needs to be focused and paying attention. She was clearly distracted. This does not inspire confidence.
I won't do stars for this review since I feel that would be unfair given I did not book the service. I am writing this solely for the benefit of the company.
UPDATE: It's requiring me to choose a star rating in order to post. I'm going with a middle rating, but again; this is not based on the actual plumbing itself since I never got that far.

Charlie and Daniel came out to fix a blockage in our main line. After calling and speaking to their receptionist, they confirmed a time and arrived promptly and even provided a heads up prior to arrival. This was super helpful considering my 1 year old son was sleeping. They made quick work of the issue and also took the time to walk through my home's plumbing setup and assess where other issues might be. Their work was quick, effective, and affordable. Thanks Charlie! Will definitely be calling for future services.

If you need drain and sewer service this is the company to call! We recently had both our kitchen drain and main line sewer back up. On two separate occasions we received friendly customer service, prompt responses, and exceptional service. They explained what the issues were, quoted a fantastic price, and performed the service. I received a few quotes for a sewer line repair and Charlie was one of them. Charlie responded right away to my request, scheduled an appointment for the following day and arrived on time.
He explained and showed me everything. He was so honest that he didn't want to short me a couple feet of pipe even though it entailed way more work for him and his crew. Charlie's crew came on time, cleaned up, and were extremely informative each step of the way. I would absolutely Recommend and would absolutely use as my go to plummer moving forward!
