They did not fix my issue, although they did provide me this disclaimer. In the end, $300 spent, some weak overtime rationalization as the reason for the price, and a very vague receipt. Follow up from them would have been nice as to the status. Two stars cause I did have a good visit on a prior visit with another technician. Finally, I had to hire another plumber to diagnose the issue and they spent just as much time at my place and only charged me $135.

I was skeptical to use Charlie Swain because I saw bad reviews online, but I guess you can't always trust reviews because our experience was perfect. They were the second company I called, the first took advantage of us on the first call (didn't call back of course). We had an internal leak/electric problem with a 4 year old A.O. Smith water heater. I called the manufacturer myself to try and get a refund (also easy to work with). They gave me a return number and the folks at Charlie Swain worked with their distributor to get me a new one and take out the old one. So I only paid Charlie Swain for the labor. Leo is an amazing technician and the person that answered the phone was very helpful (forgot her name). Prices were reasonable and the work was done very well. Highly recommend.

This is a poorly run company that puts customer service in last place. I used them twice and they were fine but nothing special. On my third appt., they tried to say that the same service I had prior had gone up from $150 to $250. Fraudulent charges averted! Not cool Chuckie!!!

I called to have a leak fixed. The plumber that came appeared intoxicated ( on some type of drug) his speech and movement were all over the place. He misplaced the company keys and the alarm triggered on the service vehicle . This went on as he searched for the keys. This is all 5-7 minutes into the service call and no work was rendered at the time. I asked if he was ok. I don't know yet if the work he did fixed the problem. If appears so but I will never use this company again. He became unprofessional asking personal questions. After he finished I asked him a few times to leave as he tried making small talk. He received a phone call and urgently left. One night after the repair... tonight at 10 pm I hear noise outside of my home. My surveillance cameras and I both see the same service guy. I yelled I'm calling the police. I ran outside after him but he's fast. I checked surveillance and realized he'd been snooping around for about an hour. It's very creepy. I will call and let the owner know tomorrow that a police report has been filed. Do not use this company. Especially if you are a single female. I repeat!!!! DONT

After having been told everything that previous plumber had done wrong, plumber from Charlie Swaine preceded to work in bathroom sink of a brand new rental apartment...one day after first ever renter moved in, calls me to tell me of leak Pouring out... Call only to be told, coldly, guarantee expired and would have to pay all over again.......amazing how they don't back up there work. One star is a gift to Charlie...

This company is completely unprofessional and rude. I took off work to me home for a 10-12 window for a contractor to come out for an estimate. I waited until 12:05 and did not hear a thing from anyone from this office. I then called and was told that """"he was leaving a job and would be on his way from Hollywood to my Home."""" This would make him more than an hour later than the 10-12 window that I was scheduled. I asked to speak to the """"manager"""" and was told there was a major flood in a high rise and that is why he was late. I understand emergencies happen but I should have been given the curtesy of a phone call. I told him that I needed to get back to work and if he wanted to reschedule he would have to come on a Saturday. He said that he works Mon-Friday. I too work Monday to Friday and already wasted my morning once waiting for this company. STAY AWAY! They will drop your small residential job in a moments notice if a high rise more expensive job falls in their lap.

Very unprofessional company. A completely rip off. I'm 100% agreed with other reviews. Everyone in the company wants only money, lazy people and basic charge is $80 to $150 just for a consultation not for fixing anything BEWARE!!! Receptionist is very rude. I did have a simple water heater problem. The top cable was loose. The plumber came for 5 min (I'm not lying) he didn't check too much so he couldn't find the problem, then told me that this is not a plumbers job, this is an electricians problem and blah blah blah. Company wanted me to pay them $150 for nothing. I ended up paying $100 to this thieves. I would have given a zero but this program would not allow it, I called at 830 am this morning for toilet valve repair and was first told maybe late tomorrow afternoon , I said I need toilet so need today she said I'll call you back in 10 minutes ...never did I called Bach at 1045 and she said oh not today tomorrow or Thursday , guess they don't need my business cause I'm only residential.. She also said I left a message to tell you couldn't come today and u told her that was not true , horrible customer service cost them my business and all 50 family members I gave in Hollywood area...

We had a break at the water main. Charlie Swain Plumbers came out within an hour of our call and completed the repair at a very reasonable price. What makes this company stand out is the plumber came back to again make the repair after the fast drying glue failed. It held for a while and broke once more at 9:30 p.m. He returned within 30 minutes to once again make the repair. This time he used regular adhesive which dried overnight. The plumber who showed up in the morning turned on the water and waited to make certain the repair held. Friendly, honest workers who take pride in their work and a company that bills reasonably. We can't ask for more.
