Both Charley and Matt are great plumbing professionals. I need to install water softener in San Jose. Got 3 quotes. Other 2 asked me to install their systems which cost over $4500 but couldn't even tell me why their systems worth so much more than Home Depot's . Yet Charley recommended me Fleck water softener, and told us where to get it for about $850 only. While I am still waiting for FedEx to deliver parts, they fixed my kitchen drain, bath tub hot water issue, garden faucet. Charley even noticed and informed us a pipe issue that we didn't even know. He fixed the issue very quickly. They are very honest and professional. Can't wait to have Charley and Matt come back to install water softener once FedEx deliver it.

Simply amazing! Had the best experience ever. Had a hose break under my kitchen sink and water was coming out called Charleys plumbing and he came quick. shut off off my water and explained what had happened and how he was going to fix it. Charley was referred to us by another plumber and he is the best! He helped us test our laundry set up as we wanted to make sure all the pipes and drains are working in preparation of installing a pair of laundry machines. He also helped us correct the wiring for a couple of the new water heaters installed by this other plumber in order to make sure these water heaters are installed up to code. But what impressed us the most about Charley is his friendliness and dedication to customer service. On a Sunday night, we were out of town, and got an urgent call from our tenants who just moved into a property and discovered that there was no hot water. Knowing that nobody really worked on Sundays, we reached out to Charley to see if he could help us resolve the problem first thing on Monday. We explained the situation to him. To our surprise, he said that he would be over to the house to check out the problem right away and he was at the house in about 15 minutes. He located the problem water heater, was able to re-start the pilot and fixed the issue for us. He also found some parts issues with the water heater and offered to return to fix the parts at a later time. When we were about to find out how much the cost would be for this emergency visit, he said that this would be a courtesy visit, so he is not charging us for the trip. We are so grateful and heartened by Charley's kindness and super-fast actions to help us address the problem. We highly recommend Charley to anyone who is looking for an honest, reliable and skillful plumber - Charley is the best!

I called Charleys and described the problems of my Moen kitchen faucet leak. Charles immediately told me he would pick up parts and come to fix in about 45min. When he could not get the parts, he called me and told me he would try another place. He kept me posted until he got the part and told me when he was coming. When found that the cartridge was loose, he checked the cartridge and didn't find anything wrong. He tightened the old one and fixed it without charging me for the new cartridge he bought for me. His charge is very reasonable. He really wants to fix things for you.

I sent a text to them one morning. I got a very fast reply. With questions asked he had a good idea of my problem. Turns out I was close to one of his apts that day. He came by and was able to fix my problem.

They are friendly, very knowledgeable and what I like most was they didn't try to tell me that I needed to have additional work done that did not need it.

I will be calling them back for any other work I need to have done. You can defiantly trust these guys on there work.

I had an issue with a leaking pipe in the wall to my master bath shower. Charley and Matt came out and were very engaging, and answered all my questions. Unfortunately, they found the problem was larger than I had realized. Charley immediately had other solutions though they would need to return the next day. They clamped off the pipe to prevent further damage.

What I really appreciated about their service is, later I started having other questions. I emailed him (a bit late) and I was surprised how quickly he emailed back. He answered my queries clearly. He never made me feel bad for asking.

The next day they showed me what they were thinking. I was concerned that in fixing it properly as proposed, how would it look removing the two old knobs in the shower? Would it look very ""patched?"" Well, he had thought of that. He picked a nice fixture with a large enough face plate that covered the old connection points in the tile. Honestly, it looks really nice now as if it was there all the time.

As we are all still dealing with COVID-19, it was nice that Charley and Matt both wore their masks, they had shoe coverings to minimize any dirt on their boots. Those little touches reminded me that they are aware of all aspects of working in people's home.

I will definitely keep Charley's card for any future plumbing issues I have.

If I could give 10 stars I would! From first contact, Charles was responsive and kept in touch until his arrival. Both he and Matt are super personable and trustworthy. He explained what the issue might be and once identified gave me more info on how it became a problem and how to avoid so it doesn't happen again. His price was fair and reasonable, and the workmanship is top notch! I was so happy with their service I asked for a bid to replace the pipes throughout my house. As a single person who lives alone, it's really important to be careful who I allow in my house and both Charles and Matt made me feel super comfortable and safe. They will be my go to plumbers from now on. I have already recommended them to several family members for future needs.

I would highly recommend Charley's Plumbing for any plumbing, piping, installs, etc. I had them install a new kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal, as well as change out the cartridges in my bathrooms.
