After calling for a unique business opportunity not only was I hung up on, I was told to go fuck myself. If that's the type of person people like to do business with be my guest but someone needs to go to etiquette school and learn how to speak to people with basic human decency. I would give zero stars but that's an option.

wish i would have read reviews before i called this company.stay way from this company they are as crooked as they come.they over charged my 84 yr old mother 400,00 and they dont give receipts. all he did was turn a couple of valves and change a thermastat that didnt need to be changed.and still the problem wasnt fixed.he wanted 500,00 more which she didnt have thank god becuse she called a company with good reviews and they fixed the problem for a very good price, and they gave a receipt and a warranty, just wish that i would have read reviews before calling them.and if i could give 0 stars i would.so beware...

Hands down this is the best plumbing service on Long Island! A few years ago they fixed my kitchen pipe in the basement and a few weeks ago they had to use pipe dope to fix a minor gas leak near my water heater because National Grid said that it had to be corrected. When I called Charge It Plumbing & Heating on both instances, Lou always picked up the phone right away. Never an answering machine or voice mail unlike other plumbing companies. Lou always kept his promise with his appointments & his service is top-notch. Thanks for all you do!

Horrible. Do not use. Hired Lou to fix a dripping faucet. Agreed to pay $175 for repair. He had to take pedestal off the sink to get to plumbing parts. Accidentally broke pedestal. Refused to pay for damages. Said he would not charge me the $175 but I had to go purchase sink and pedestal and new faucet. This cost me $360 for his mistake. And he told me to get Bone. Said that was the color of my toilet, which I now know it is not so because of him my toilet and sink colors do not match. HE RIPPED ME OFF!! IF YOU CAUSE A PROBLEM YOU SHOULD FIX IT!! I HAD NO WAY OUT OF THIS EXCEPT TO SPEND THE $360 for parts.

Was way over charged and problem was not fixed. Then they left one part of the toliet leaking...was told that happens its a plumbers thing and its normal. Very rude and arrogant. He did not want to put any effort in finding the problem; I had to keep telling him to look deeper to find it and finally he did. Will not use or recommend. He said his price was the lowest rate..it was Not. I finally found a kind and professional and HONEST plumber which he charged less than half the price and fixed the problem and did more work. Charge It...is NOT honest, disrespectful and over charges and did not fix my problem.

My advice is to NEVER to use company again especially if his name is DAVE (he's awful). Very unprofessional hard to talk to and will rip you off of your money in a heart beat. I had recently purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy Dave came to replace the hose to work with my existing water line. He knew that it would not be a good idea but he did it, refuse to give me a receipt because of it saying that he 'didn't want his name on that job' charge me $175 for the job & walked away with no heart. A day later the hose blew up, burn my hand & flooded my kitchen. When I called him he blew me off & said he would come check it out the next day, he never showed up.
He replaced 2 outside water nozzle (charging $200 ea.) Went to turn on the main water line for them recently & one of the lines that I specifically told him was not working he hooked up one of the nozzle to that line & it when the water was turned on it flooded my bedroom. Called him about that too & not only was he rude from the first call of which he told me he 'was having dinner & to call him later' (are you freaking kidding me?). Got a neighbor to come & access the problem to only find out what I stated above he hooked up the wrong line. Called him back the neighbor spoke to him & he said he would come the next day. He called the next day to tell me that as 'he thought about it he did what he was suppose to do' which cost me a total of $434.40 + including the tax, 'but if he had to come back out it would be a $90 service call + whatever needed to be done. I'm reporting him on every platform possible including reporting him to BBB. Please be ware of this crazy guy, he's a rip off artist.

Did $18,000 in damage to my house! I have a judgement for $5,000 simply because that is the maximum allowed in small claims court! Charge it Plumbing is STILL refusing to pay! Complete nightmare!

As a brand new homeowner (about 2 1/2 years ago) i called them just from seeing their ad online, because i had a leak in my basement, they were at the house quick enough to rip apart my basement ceiling and my tile bathroom wall and found the hole in the shower pipe and quickly cut out the 3 inch or so piece of pipe and solder in a new piece (easy enough) $1000 later i had to ""CHARGE IT""TO MY CREDIT CARD. I dont remember the names of the 2 guys that came, but they left me with a magnet that had the name Lou on it. Charge it gets 1 star for getting the job done, but $1000, Really?!?! For about an hours work? Looking back now, im pretty sure they made up the price and they knew i was a new homeowner and i didnt know any better so $1000 seemed like the right price for me. Also they gave me a guy that can fix the holes in my walls to, and i almost laughed. So now i know the meaning behind the name of the company. CHARGE IT to your credit card because you definitely wont have enough cash on you to pay for our plumbing and heating.
So i learned my lesson and will never use charge it again
