I had the pleasure of using Chanowitz Family plumbing and heating recently and can't say enough about them ! Mr Chanowitz was able to send an employee out the very same day to address a water heater issue I was having. They were prompt , and professional . His employee had fixed the problem within an hour. In these times, it is difficult to find a professional and honest company with a great customer service. I have Chanowitz Plumbing on speed dial and I will be recommending his company to family and friends . They do good work, but owner Mike is arrogant. After having them do almost a dozen jobs, he charged me $300 to install a PBC drain on a bathroom sink. When I questioned the bill and 'two man job' 2 man job, he became arrogant and dismissive. Apparently he did me a favor over the last 5 years despite the fact that I paid him several thousand dollars at time of service. Guess he forgot the service part. Call someone else.

Best plumber to work with - highly recommend Chanowitz. The company helped us several times in emergencies - when the water wouldn't turn on due to powerful wind storms, when our water heater was leaking, and when we needed air conditioner serviced. Also used Chanowitz to install new HVAC system, and remove old sink / install new sink. Very professional team, quick to respond, and fair prices. Definitely the best vendor I've worked with, and am so thankful to Chanowitz and the team. Highly recommended for all plumbing needs.

Turned our CA on for the first time and it was HOT! Waiting a little while, still hot. Woke up the next morning, extra hot! Called Chanowitz and they sent 2 techs the same day. They were professional and personable. They checked everything out and gave us a tune up and refilled our cooling fluids. The house felt amazing! Woke up the next morning and it was hot again! They came right out but the pouring rain prevented them from doing anything. They squeezed us in the very next day. They came out again and discovered the issue which was quickly fixed. Prices were great and the techs were knowledgeable. I feel confident with Chanowitz and won't be using anyone else.

Very pleased with experience overall. Initially had trouble getting the receptionist to answer the phone and she wasn't the most organized but got call back from the owner shortly and one of the owners was at my house fixing a leak within 2 hours. He did a great job, answered a few of my questions, was professional, had all the parts in the truck and was done in 30 minutes. In the end the problem was fixed and I was charged a reasonable amount for what was really emergency service.

My air conditioner died on a Sunday morning. By mid-day the temp inside my house was 85 degrees. We called an emergency service and through pure dumb luck ended up with Chanowitz Family Plumbing taking the call. I am so glad he grateful. Chanowitz came within a few hours of the call and had us up and running in no time. When it was 98 degrees outside, it was in the mid-70's and going down inside. Thank you Chanowitz!

Our forced air heating system was not functioning correctly this morning. I called Chanowitz Family plumbing and heating and spoke to Mike who was professional and nice over the phone. Mike told me they would be able to check on the issue late this morning or early this afternoon and he'd call me later with a heads up. Early this afternoon Mike followed through with that call and had a friendly young man named Jake meet me at my house around 2 pm to diagnose the problem. Jake found what was causing the malfunction, corrected the problem and explained what to watch for and what to do if the problem reoccurs. If I understood it correctly, as the a.c./heating unit is in a crawl space/attic that isn't climate controlled, condensation occurred in the accumulator and the resulting water likely froze given the very low temp last night causing the igniter not to ignite. That's the gist of it anyway. In any case, Jake found the cause of the problem in a relatively short amount of time, took the time to briefly explain the system, what certain parts do and how they work and was professional throughout so A+ from me. Good, friendly customer service which is all too rare these days. Good follow through and nice, and professional service. If the need arises, let's hope it doesn't, I'll be calling Chanowitz Family plumbing and heating again. Thanks, happy holidays to all.
