I had a bit of a fight with my kitchen faucet for the last couple days and it got the best of me. So I decided to Yelp. I needed this thing changed asap - Otherwise wife was going to kill me. :)
Called Chandler's and he quoted the price over the phone and showed up the same afternoon (15 minutes early). I was missing a part and he ran out and bought it and finished the job. Did a great job and we couldn't be happier. Really mellow guy (which is a good thing) and honest.

Mr. Chandler provided excellent service--professional, courteous, straightforward and easy to work with.

Had two plumbing problems--one a backed up pipe in the kitchen causing the dish washer to overflow and leaking sink faucet handles.

Called ahead to confirm and arrived as planned.
Reviewed the situation and offered up the suggested repairs.
Got the necessary parts and completed the repairs.
Completed in about an hour.

Again, very pleased. Would recommend his services and consider using him again for future repairs.

I hate being a party-pooper too and was so happy thinking I'd found a handyman service both my mother and myself could trust after some bad experiences. Well...my mother asked that I not call them again to work at her house. First, I'm given one estimate on the phone and my mother gets a different one once he arrived. I was not told ""I need to see the job first"" to give a quote; it was a matter-of-fact type of answer on the charge. That was an irritant but it happens all the time and possibly I misunderstood (which I don't think I did but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt).

The deal-breaker though was that once he was finished he had the nerve to ask my 84 year-old mother if she'd pay part of it in cash!! That's after he scared her by following her into her office (uninvited) to ask her that;. She's not stupid enough to keep cash in her house and told him so. Think about what was going through her mind ""I'm 84 years old, in my house alone with a strange man and this man's asking me if I have cash!!""

The quality of the work is fine but I really question his judgement.

Chandler filled my call of help on a short notice. His communication was excellent and the tenant was very happy with the his repairs of interior doors and the inspection and repair of all interior plumbing. The bill was fair and i will use him again as soon as the need arises. When people are as handy as Chandler, you dont have to spend much time getting your jobs completed - give it to Chandler - then get out of the way and let him go to work. You wont be sorry.

I just asked Chandler to fix my food disposer this noon. He showed up on time and did the work. He is very professional and polite. The price is reasonable and no surcharges. I already asked him to fix my toilet next time. I recommend you to call Chandler if you need this kind of service.

Thank you YELP for finding me the best handyman I could possibly find in the bay area. Ishmael is professional, knowledgeable, and thoroughly likeable. He arrived 15 minutes ahead of time, and had to wait for me to return from dropping my son off to school (first time a handyman has done that!). I had a few leaky taps and a dripping pipe, and it was all taken care of without any fuss.
His prices are reasonable and he doesn't pretend that the issue is bigger than it actually is.
He is polite, confident, and knows his job. I can't ask for anything more than that from a handyman. Highly recommended.

Me being a single mother with a full time job, it's hard to get around to some jobs around the house; I'd rather avoid them all together... But my leaking toilet was something I could not avoid. I heard threw a friend that there was a nice, professional and affordable Handyman. So I decided before I just took my friends advice to look up on YELP and see if I could get any other opinions. I typed in handyman and my friend's suggestion was at the top of the list. My story short, he came on time, dressed like a handyman should, I suppose and ready to work. He fixed my problem and while there he noticed the annoying beeping from my fire alarms and fixed that as well. I would recommend all who is in need of a handy man to use Chandler's service. He and his assistant were extremely kind and best part for me affordable. Thank you yelp and thank you Chandler's Handyman Service.

Sorry to rain on the happy parade - called this service based on yelp ratings - seems he wants to pick and choose his jobs - is not a true handyman, but prefers plumbing; but I wouldn't know; after the initial conversation, he didn't cal back - guess he didn't like the work he would have to do.

I made an appointment to have my garbage disposal replaced which I thought was broken. mr.Chandler said he would be at my house by 4 and he arrived 5 minutes early! High points for that alone. Turned out my disposal was not broken but a screw had fallen down the sink. Doh! Regardless, Mr.Chandler was kind, curtious and on time. I will definitely use him again in the future!
