Disappointed with summer hire project.
Price was good, and going into beginning project it was understood that no citrus trees would be trimmed beyond February. Rest of yard and weeds would be maintained for the summer.
Have security cameras so while away we could watch the work being performed.
Upon return after summer, weeds had taken over the back yard, sprinkler timers had been readjusted to 40 minutes per cycle costing us an extreme amount of water bill. All my flower beds had been removed of the flowers and weeds permitted to grow. Citrus trees had been trimmed back to the point of looking almost dead. All my flowers and glads were gone, that was so disappointing and also very costly.

On the other hand my daughter's yard was well taken care of right down to water levels for the plants.

Determination: Randy had two separate crews and as long as the crew knew someone was around they do a terrific job, but would not hire them again while being gone.

Needed to get irrigation to an area of grass. Chandler Lawn & Garden was recommended by a neighbor. Randy the owner came out and looked at the situation. He suggested a much simpler solution than I had in mind. Called with a fair bid and we scheduled the work. Crew was on time and made short of work of the installation. The forman found a hidden problem with the water service connection the house and fixed it for no additional cost.

This is my go to landscaper, but they do more than that! I can text Randy and explain what I need and he'll get back to me soon. I had another company redo my cook deck. I asked Randy to re-rout my irrigation system that I suspected was leaking, and consolidate valves. Randy came up with an excellent plan to cut my large concrete slab along my property line and run the irrigation pipes there. That way if there ever is a problem, it will be easy to fix, and no more demo is needed. This was a very involved task as it was a reinforced slab. Excellent Job! I have no hesitation to recommend Chandler Lawn & Gardens to anyone.

October 6th 2017 Chandler Lawn and Gardens truck with his trailer swiped my vehicle in a turn lane, cussed us out in Spanish and took off. Maricopa County Sherriffs Office is pursuing this HIT AND RUN- a FELONY. The owner Randy says he has no information on Gilbertos crew and no insurance information to cover my damages. I'm in the process of gathering what I need to sue this company. Randy claims he is not responsible for his sub contractors! This accident is UNACCEPTABLE! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! There is a review that states the same thing almost happened to them but luckily they were not involved in an accident. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The contract signed specifically says irrigation material is under warranty for one year. After 6 months our irrigation system was not working properly. After 5-7 emails and text messages they came out and fixed the problem, then charged us. I do not recommend this company. Not a company of their written word.

The only interaction I have had with them thus far has been almost being hit by one of their trucks. After almost being broadsided, they had the audacity to start yelling obscenities and attempt to run me off the road. I WOULD NEVER LET THESE GUYS NEAR MY HOUSE!!!

I was impressed with all the great reviews Randy Summers has garnered here and that he was close by. When I called on Saturday he answered his phone. I told Randy I'd found him on Yelp and he explained he'd been running his business for 20 years. Randy was unable to set a specific appointment for an initial walk of the property and wanted a block of time. We settled on between 10 & 10:30 Tuesday morning. I arrived home to meet Randy about 5 minutes late at 10:05 and Randy wasn't there. I went inside to await Randy's arrival and after a few minutes I noticed someone had left Randy's card on the kitchen counter. I called Randy and he said he'd just left my house. I had wanted to walk with him but there were others home to let him in so I asked if he had seen everything he needed. He said he hadn't. It was then only 10 or 12 minutes after 10 and still within our scheduled time block so I asked him to return. Randy refused saying he had to get to his next appointment.

After 20 years Randy knows what kind of business he is running. My priorities are important too. If your priorities are important you can save yourself the trouble of bothering Mr. Summers.
